It's magical! From the new Magical Fireworks show at DL Summer Nightastic promo that (hopefully) temporarily replaces RDCT...

Those are nice photos Pednurse!
Funny how close up they kind of look the same, and yet each sculpture he does is different.

Thanks! I think his glassworks are amazing! I could sit for ages on the rotating bench and never see the same thing twice...totally neat to study. At the children's museum they even have an area under the sculpture with plastic "glass" formations for kids to build their own sculptures out of.

I think I am REALLY going to like this Nikkor 17-55mm 2.8 I picked up yesterday. I got a chance to get out with it a little while today in between storms.

Gorgeous, Karyl. Can't wait to see what you can do with the new lens.

Nice photo Roger! What lens were you using? Beautiful bokeh!

I'm not Roger, but I'm guessing the Nikon 50mm f/1.4. I remember a post in the "Sigma Fast Prime Fan Club" from Roger including some photos of flowers that have the same look as this one that were taken with the 50mm f/1.4 (including a too cute picture of what looked like a Golden Retriever :goodvibes).

He's lucky---if it wasn't for the fact that these are such great shots, I might have had to point out that the thread they were originally posted on was a Sigma thread, not a Nikon ;)

Agreed though---great shot Roger!! :thumbsup2

Thank you Ann, you did a great job of filling in the facts. Any yes I know it was the Sig Fast Prime thread but I thought Jeff had posted some of his recent Nikon primes on there. It probably was on another thread but they render the same kind of shot. Raleigh is not a golden but a mutt. He looks like a golden.

One of my first attempts at Manual. Not too bad I hope. Rodin did a pretty good job as well.;) Probably needs a bit of white balance tweaking in LR.

A pic of my grandparents' home (taken yesterday during my last visit to it before it's to be sold) that I tried some new (to me!) techniques on to make it look like a vintage print:
