I am new to the photography world. I have a Nikon D3000 that I am still trying to figure out how to take proper pictures. Here's one, that I worked on with Adobe Lightroom 3. Any input would be appreciated!

What kind of lens is that on your EVO?

A cheap generic lens that can be found a bunch of places on the net. Clicking the picture will give a little more detail about it and some shots. It worth every penny!
