I know, right!!! I was only there for a day and a half, but I did think of you!! Of course, the fact that I don't have your number didn't even enter the equation...!!!
Had a lovely time, and also managed to get all the weather seasons fitted into 2 days!! I do love to visit Melbourne - it is such a vibrant city.

As long as that?? It's normally within 20 minutes!

Very nice, like how you did the selective coloring it works well with this shot.

Thanks. I have seen how you really push color and saturation and how well it looks. It is kinda pushing me to be a bit more aggressive in post. Thanks for sharing all your work. It helps others like me learn.

PrincessinOz - love your food photos!! And - you can afford bananas...!!! (Actually the first banana I had in months was when I was in Melbourne!! )
(For our US friends - there was a cyclone/hurricane earlier this year which destroyed most of the banana growing area in Queensland, and bananas have been running up to A$15 per kilo - probably about US$8-9 per lb. They are just starting to come back to more reasonable prices now!!)

My husband picked up an SX30is in Florida at the beginning of our Disney trip. He has not have much of a chance to learn the camera yet, but here is a picture he took of Illuminations on our last day there. (last Friday)

Great picture. That is the camera I have, got it in Feb of this year and still haven't learned everything yet.
