Welcome to the photography board, that's a very good picture even with it taken through the window.

Thank you MichelleWOW that shot is amazing!!! Love looking at your shots everyday.
Thank you. No I'm not a professional, I only do it as a hobby and to have fun getting out shooting, I did get my start in the 8th grade and I'm now 52 so have been at it a while. Thanks! You guys have some amazing photos in this thread! Are you all professional or is it more of a hobby? How do you get the copyright symbol on your photos? What photo editing software do you use? Sorry for all of the questions. I'll limit myself to 3 per post. I promise.
That is a gorgeous shot!!![]()
Hawaiian Waterfall by Ryan Leemhuis Photography, on Flickr
Nice shot
Can you tell me where this is? We just booked our trip to Hawaii for July and I was just wondering what island this is, we are going to Oahu.
DH and I got married on Oahu last summer. If you're looking for some waterfalls to visit you can head out to Manoa Falls. Its only about a 15-20 (if you get lost like we did) drive from Waikiki. Its less then a mile out to the falls and it was a very beautiful hike.
I love this thread! Thinking of getting my first digital SLR and a Canon is at the top of my life right now.

I use Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS2 for my editing, also shoot raw files. For the copyright I made an action in CS2 so I don't have to type one on each photo.
In most programs to make the copyright symbol hold down the ALT key and at the same time as holding down the alt key press and hold down on the number keys 0 1 6 9. It's a little tricky but that's how you get the copyright symbol.
Thanks for all of the info! I started at age 12, but stopped for the last 10 years because life got in the way. I just got the T1i a couple of weeks ago- it is amazing how much I forgot in just 10 years!! Of course- the last SLR I had was a film camera, so I am completely lost as far as software & RAW files.![]()
