Still learning how to use my new XSi. So I took some practice shots of my son using the R/C Car, I liked this one the best.

Still waiting on my new lenses to arrive.

Above image: Kit Lens, Aperture Priority, 55mm, f5.6, 1/1600, 400iso. Shot in RAW with some White Balance adjustment post processing.

Haven't been out recently...here's one from the gray of winter. Can't wait for the colors of spring to return!

Is that Green Ridge? I'm from W. MD/Ridgeley Area, so sadly most of these places look so familiar to me that I can't tell the place apart!

Great pictures everyone! I'm loving them all. I haven't had much time lately to take many but I'll post one that I currently like of the moon through a tree in my back yard - nothing special, just something I like.

I'll add to the bird/flying theme...a wild pheasant we saw strolling along the road last yr

Here's one I took at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA today. You can find the link to my photo set from the day here. Thank goodness spring is nearly here!

I decided to try some different angles when taking photos of my dog, Charlie.

He's just dying to go and visit the dogs across the street:

And his paws:

Both were taken with my S3 IS this afternoon.

I've been trying to get a picture of some wildlife in a local pond for months but no luck again. Instead I ended up with an interesting reflection. The shadowy horizontal images are fish swimming near the surface.
