Photo Session Question

I have a question. I thought I have read something on here about how you can preorder the photo pass & pay the $99, then pay the sitting fee for the photo session & get the pictures included on your photo pass. Is this correct or have I misunderstood. Does anyone know what the sitting fees are? Sorry to ask so many questions, but we are going in January & I'm very interested in doing this for my family. We just called Disney about it & was told we would pay $200 for the photo pass & the photo session, and that just seems to me higher than the way I thought. It still isn't that bad of a price, but if I can save a few dollars, I would love to do that!

I think i read somewhere that the fee is $75 now it was only about $25 but they increased it. I could be wrong but i seem to remember these numbers for some reason

If you preordered the CD, then at the bottom of your email it will say something along the lines of $25 for the sitting fee. If you have an email that says that, then the resorts are honoring that price. Good luck. I just ordered my cd about a month ago and the $25 message was at the bottom of my email.

We did this on our trip back in September. They have changed the emails and it now shows the $75 price. So, it's $99 for the photopass cd and $75 for the photo session. Here's a big thread on it over on the Resorts board: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1703832
