photo pass?

Do you think the photo pass is really worth it and do they take pictures at night or only during the day?

We used it on our trip to WDW 2 years ago and it was definitely worth it.

We were in the parks 7 full days. We stopped as often as we could to the photogs. I have great pics of our entire family all over the parks. Yes they are out at night and one of my favorite pics is at night in front of the castle.

The photogs are also at the waterparks. We never take our camera to the wp so it's nice to have some pics.

We made an effort to use the photopass everywhere. We took a lot of pics with characters as well. Now last year, we were only in the parks 3 days and we didn't use photopass and don't regret it. However I don't have as many great family shots.

I think the photopass can definitely be worth it, especially if you are there for a longer stay or have a large group of people. They do take some pictures at night, though not as many.

For the trips with the extended family, where we have anywhere from 12 to 14 people attending, we always do the photopass. For just the four of us, and maybe someone else, we still get it, but it's not nearly as good a value. (Still worth it, IMO, but not quite the same great deal.)


ETA - looking over some previous photopass CDs, we average 150-200 pictures on the low end, and 250-300 or so on the high end, depending on who goes and how long we stay.

thanks for the response I think i will definitely get the pass especially seeing as if i pre order it will be $50 less
