I am new to the Board and would like to know how photpass works. My only experience with it was for the Xmas party last year where we purchased 1 picture. Can pictures be taken in all parks? At your hotel? Is it cheaper to purchase in advance, etc. Thanks for all replies

WELCOME!:cheer2:

The photopass is free but then you can buy your pictures from there. Yes it can be cheaper if you buy it before hand. Can someone give this new Disser the website. I think it's http://www.disneyphotopass.com
The pictures are taken mostly at the parks and at the photopass site they show the picture location. Good Luck and Welcome!

If you buy it ahead it is $99.00 or so. There are photographers everywhere. They take high quality photographs and are eager to please. They will take pictures of you as a group and seperately. There are places where they can add a Simba or Tink in your picture! It is a really nice souvenier. The photpass pictures are free. They will give you a card and scan it each time they photograph you (each session). If you buy the disk you can simply take it to your local Walmart or Sam's and print what you want! You can also addborders and dates to your pictures before you order your disk (and crop them as well)! :goodvibes
