photo pass question

Hi!

I'm trying to understand the photo pass options...

Is there a regular photo pass and then a photo pass plus?

What additional value is there to the photo pass plus?

How many pictures would you think we'd have after a 6 night / 7 day vacation.

The regular photo pass, includes photos that you ask WDW photographers ( stationed around the parks ) to take. How many you get depends on how many photographers you ask. THey will pose you in some traditional park poses and may include poses that when the picture is developed will include a disney character digitally added.

With the photopass plus you get the park photos, plus the pictures taken on the rides like
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Rock ‘n Roller Coaster
Expedition Everest
Dinosaur
Also included with the pp+ are the picture packages taken at the following dining locations if you are dining there.
1900 Park Fare
Ohana (Breakfast only)
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
Chef Mickey’s
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Tusker House Restaurant (Breakfast only)
Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Is the PP+ worth it? That depends on whether you will be riding those rides and eatting at any or all of those restaurants. If you aren't or don't really care to have the ride photos then just go with the regular photopass and everytime you see a photographer, stop and have them take some photos! If you ask they will pose you in special poses and have some fun with you. But you have to ask and let them know you are open to that!

I already pre ordered my photopass cd. If I want to do the photopass plus....does that already come with a cd containing all of my photopass pics? I am a little confused.

thanks for all the info. We might do the hoop de doo review, but I don't see us doing any other package type places. Plus - my kids are a little too young or wimpy for a lot of the big rides. Sounds like I should just go with the regular photo pass if I decide to do it at all.

If you switch to the PP+, you will get a gallery photo CD in addition to your photo CD. You will also be able to order your CD with all of your PP pictures on it, there is a coupon code included with the PP+ materials for the CD.

I've never been to Disney World; this will be my first time in September with my family of four. My mom has purchased the vacation package for our Christmas present, so I really want to take lots of pictures for her to feel like she was there every step of the way. I've been told that the Photo Pass is a great option, but I'm just not sure how it works.

So, do I order the Photo pass in advance? Do they just send me the card and I give it to the photographer each time? Do I pay in advance, or do I pay after I see the pictures? Can I view the pictures online? Do I have to purchase the Phot Pass online in advance, or can i get it from the resort (We are staying at All-Star Movies), or do I have to get it at the parks? Does it apply at all the parks?

As you can see, I have lots of questions. Is there a particular place I can go to get information or can someone help me?

No, they can still be purchased separately and added to your regular Photopass CD. They are just already included with the Photopass + option.

With the PP+, they will scan your card and add them to that. You don't get an actual print there, just the digital download and the photo on your disk. If you don't have the PP+, you will have to pay $14.95 per photo for a digital download of the ride photo.

I don't think it's an extra package. It's included in the meal anyways. Cinderella's Royal Table was the only meal that we paid for even though we had DxDDP. The reason it was paid for was because my DH proposed to me there and he purchased the engagement package which included extra photos. Very sweet. We are debating on purchasing the photopass + again for our honeymoon in less than 18 days. It's well worth it though!
