Photo Pass Question

Since I am a little slow(LOL). Let me ask this My trip starts October 22nd(first PP taken) I could claim the photo's on November 15th. DD, Dneice and DN 2- 5 year olds trip starts december 3rd ends December 13th. I could add their photo's to my CD and then edit by December 17th and be good to go. Another question would I wait to edit my photo's until they add there's or can I start editing my photo's November 15th. I pick November 15th to give me time to edit mine before they start adding there's. They will have a laptop with them on their trip and could start editing during this trip, correct. Susan

In your example, you could claim them as late as 30 days from October 22 (let's say November 22 for ease, but it's 30 days not a month as far as I know). Then you could do your editing 30 days from that date, and order prior to December 22. So your other group would have only 5 days after their trip to do all their editing. It's doable, but a tight schedule IMO, depending on how many photos you have to edit.

I also wouldn't wait UNTIL day 30 to do anything, but probably would do it a day or so in advance (at the latest) just to be safe.

This is correct - sort of. There are two windows. The first is the claiming window, so in your example you have to claim them by entering your card #s by October 29th (or 28th or whatever 30 actual days is). But from that point that you claim them, you get an additional 30 days to edit.

I guess we always go in and check them while we are the parks. Sometimes the special effects photos don't work and Photopass can fix them. When we are traveling with multiple family groups it's hard to keep up with the editing and selecting borders, etc. unless I start doing it before we get home. I always try to get the other family members involved but found they never get around to it. I guess it's more important to me.

DPP were able to retrieve pictures we had placed in our cart but had not bought 4 days after they had expired.

We were also able to get a $5.00 discount on each picture we downloaded.:cool1:

Yes, although I've seen varying reports on that, I would assume if you check them in the park - say the day you have the first photo taken, you have basically turned your potentially 60 day window into 30. I've seen a few people say checking them in the park didn't start the clock ticking, but I was skeptical of that. We never do that, so I can't say for sure.

Thank You. I will give myself a day or two to edit. Our group of big kids(LOL) won't have as many photo's to edit as the second group with little one's.

Just remember about the second 30-day window - from the time you claim them to the time you order the CD. If you claim the photos on November 15, you would have to order the CD by December 15, before their trip was over.
