For my last three Disney trips we had either photo pass or memory maker. Two of those trips were with either family or friends and we were very easily able to share the photo pass/memory maker. My question is two parts: is the Universal/IOA photo package worth it (as in are the photographers plentiful like at Disney)? Also, is the package easy to share with another family that you are traveling with?

I have used both Disney and Universals photo packages. Here are my thoughts on both:
- I felt Disney had far more roaming photographers than Universal. At Universal there was always someone at the entrance and I found a few around the parks and in city walk but it was random.

- Universal gives you a card that you hand ride photo desks and photographers to have the pics added to your account. We had 2 cards in case we weren't together allowing us to share. You will need to visit the photo counter after each ride if you want ride photos, they don't add automatically like with magic band.

- As far as a good value I think it really depends on how you use it. I had over 300 photos from a 6 day trip to Disney and about 120 from 3 day package at Universal. We ride alot of rides and actively seek out photo opportunities we tend to have a higher count than what I have seen others post. YMMV
