Photo Package question

Hi!

I know the rules about not sharing photo pkgs between staterooms (with the exception of a minor child).

I am travelling in a group of 16 across 4 staterooms (all separated by family group. At least two of us will be purchasing the photo package.

My question is...

If you buy multiple packages, are there further discounts for the 2nd, 3rd, etc package? Maybe if the same person purchases them?

I remember reading once that there was but I can't find it now (and may have been out of date anyways).

TIA for your help!

I believe, if you buy one, once you're on the ship, you can buy a second stateroom for half price.

Also, fyi - if you are a nuclear family across 2 staterooms, they will add that stateroom into the same package. So DH and DS in one stateroom will be in my package, even though other DS and me are in another room. You just have to tell them on the first night to combine those two.

I don't know what happens if, say, grandma or a nephew or friend is also in that room, as it, grandpa, father, child in one and grandma, mother, child in the other.

If there are two rooms with mom and kids in one and dad in kids in another, they can all share one package.

If there are two rooms with mom, dad and 1 or 2 kids in one and grandma, grandpa, and 1 or 2 other kids in the second room, the two minor kids in the second room will be included in the one package. Any photos taken with only grandma and/or grandpa will not be included. Any photos taken with at least mom, day, or one of the 4 kids in it will be included, regardless of who else is in the picture.

Can't say what will happen with the configuration you propose.

We had a weird configuration - it was me, DD, and my aunt in one room, DH, DS, and my mom in the other room. I got the package thinking our nuclear family would be included plus any photos with my aunt (since she's in my room) and mom together. But nope, only my nuclear family was included. I think what they said was basically that you have to choose nuclear family or everyone in your stateroom.

Not sure if that's similar to the configuration your're thinking of.

That makes sense.
