photo mats?

I read something about leaving pillowcases, mats, and markers for the characters to sign. Would this be a pre-cut mat for their 6x8 photos, or what? Would you go to a frame shop (or Michaels) and have them cut one before you go?

I think you could leave any kind of mat that you 'd like...If you got a real large mat..then had your favorite photo enlarged when you got home...it would be a great souviner. The mat would need to be large enough for the charactors to sign it...and as far as I have seen they don't have real small signatures.. I think a 8x10 or next size larger would be a nice size...but that's JMO

I purchased an 8x 10 at Wal-Mart and left it at guest services. It turned out perfect!

For those who have done this, did you provide scrapbooking pens (archival quality) or regular sharpies?

I have not done the mat thing...but I don't think even if you drop off archival safe pens...you'll be sure to have them used. We droppd off a whole packed to colored sharpies with our pillowcases...and got the whole pack back unopened.
