Hey guys,

Bear with me if I use the wrong terms. I need some type of easy idiotproof software to view, store share my photos. Right now, I depend on my husband to do this. But I would like something that I could use to manage photos. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I use Picasa. picasa.com and download. It takes all your pictures and stores them by date. You can edit, share, whatever.

I'm using Windows Live Photo Gallery for a few reasons. First, it comes with Windows Vista. So I didn't need to buy or install anything. You can google it & install it if you don't already have it. It runs on Windows XP too.

It doesn't make copies of your pictures or make thumbnails, thus taking up more room in your computer. It just works with the original file.

Its been easy to find photos by date or you can go thru the tagging method of using a who/what/when/where. I'm currently working on that.

There is Windows Live Photo Gallery and Windows Photo Gallery. I started with the not-live version, but switched to the live version. But really, you never have to even go to their live website to share pictures with anyone online to actually use it. Its all IN your computer.

There are others like Google's Picassa. I have that too for some editing, but I'm just sticking with a plain old free Windows product to get the job done.
