In fairness to Disney, I dont know how long this was like this, so if you get a chance to go soon, especially maybe Safetymom, since I only go once per month, someone can see if it's fixed and update on this thread.

Screws fall out all the time, the world's an imperfect place.

I know. You're right. This actually was sort of a joke with my wife and I. I am a person who finds the flaws, and not so much criticizes the flaws, as I like to see how long they take to get fixed.

If Disney was truly held to the expectations of the Disers, they'd be in bad shape. :cool1:

It's also a quote from a movie, The Breakfast Club. :teeth:

:Pinkbounc ooh! I know that quote! I love that movie!! I say that all the time in class (I'm a teacher :teacher: ) and those annoying young 'uns don't get the reference!!! :Pinkbounc

Screws do fall out all the time - The question is - How long will it take to fix it?
I have noticed a huge decline in maintenance over the past 12 years that I've been going as an adult. Each thing on it's own, is a little thing - but they do all add up. And it is so contrary to Walt's philosophy to let them be like that.

Occupational hazard, maybe? ;)

Great movie qoute . I love the Breakfast Club. Now if I can just here the rest of the joke from when Bender was crawling through the attic , I would be happy :rolleyes1

Uh, my bit of concern is that if open issues like this are not addressed, what about those you can not see? I would think Disney, of all places, has a high standard of maintenance for safety. But after seeing this picture, YIKES! And this is what we can visibly see. I hope the next time I ride Dinosaur, the tire doesn't fall off (smile). :scared1:

During and after college I worked at the Mid-South Coliseum, a local sports arena. We held money out of every show for maintenance and we constantly made fixes. We had people on staff who handled building maintenance.

We got a new manager and she thought she'd "cut costs". A problem here and a problem there add up to a dump over time -- and it doesn't take that long to be very noticeable.

I'm kind of like disneyaggie and civileng68. Sure, things are going to happen, but if how quickly you fix something shows how committed you are to maintenance.

I'm sure WDW is as committed as ever.
