Photo ID's for children

We received all of our theme park tickets today as we fly out to Orlando in 3 weeks and 6 days. On the back of all the tickets it says photo ID required. That is not a problem for my wife and I as we have driving licences, but what about the children (aged 9 and 7)? I don't want to carry their passports around with us. Has anybody ever been asked for photo ID at any of the parks for their children? What do they do if you do not have ID? I would appreciate any advice.

We took our foster brother last year and we were never asked for photo ID. We did get him a citizen card to take with us because he looks older than 9!

I've never ever been asked for ID for my children, and I am not comfortable carrying around passports. I do take my photo driving licence for myself and so does my husband.

We've never been asked for ID when using tickets. Only time we've ever been asked is when we go to Pleasure Island.

We were there last month, all the tickets do indeed state ID required, but we never got asked for it once.
