Photo ID Required?????

I received my 5 day Bonus Passes UPS today. That was FAST. I know it says it needs to be signed. It says Photo ID required. It that really necessary. I don't think that any of my family members have a photo ID. PLEASE don't tell me I can't use these tickets unless I come up with photo IDs for my family. Do these tickets need validating anywhere or are they good to go?

I don't understand your post. Almost anyone over age 17 or 18 either has a photo drivers license or a state issued photo identification card. Almost all schools issue photo id cards. My library card has a photo on it. I'm sure it's ok if a young family member doesn't have photo id. If someone told me NO ONE in the family has photo id I would suspect they may be trying to share tickets. The passes have to be used by the same person.

You need a photo id to board a plane, to check in to hotel....

Other than my DD that does have a photo DL, my DH and myself do NOT have photo DL. Our other children do NOT have photo IDs for school and no one in our town has photo IDs for the library. My husband might have a photo ID for work but I do not. I don't understand why I would need a photo ID. We are certainly NOT looking to share our passes!!

Well I called them to find out. They are aware that not all drivers in New Jersey have photo DL. Just a valid DL will do and the children are not required to have a photo ID when they are with their parents. They said that each time we enter the park we will have to sign in. I guess I understand now.

You really ought to see if you can get a NJ photo license. Otherwise be prepared for a BIG HASTLE going through airport security and checking into your hotel.

I thought (after 9-11) all the states had switched to photo drivers license.

Didn't mean to imply you were planning to abuse the tickets but rather lack of photo id will lead to major problems with other parts of your trip.

I am not the avid traveler and our annual visits to Hershey Park never required a photo ID. The last time I flew anywhere was a trillion years ago and my husband refused to fly so airport problems aren't an issue. It was just easier to renew our driver's license every year through the mail when they send it to us. SO MUCH EASIER THAN GOING TO THE NJDMV!!! Anyone in NJ knows that. I will have to do it to make the trip smoother. My DH has a photo ID with work so maybe he'll use that and I was informed the children don't need one. They even said that our valid non-photo DL will be fine but I might go anyway.

We used the bonus pass last summer. I was asked to sign in only once in all the times we entered the parks and my friend was NEVER asked to sign. It's just the luck of the draw.
