All resorts need a photo ID when you check in....I got that.
But what about kids?

I know this is a stupid question, but on our itinerary it says for EACH person to bring a photo ID. My 17 has a drivers license but I don't have photo ID's for my 13 nor 11 year old, only Social Security cards.
Do I need to get one for them too??

No, kids dont' need them. In fact out of all the times we have checked in at any Disney resort (or anywhere in fact) we were only asked for ID once, but I'm thinking it was because it was the first charge made on a new credit card. And they only asked for my fiancé's ID (his crediti card)--they never asked to see mine. Additionally, when we went with other family members, no one was asked to present ID. The only time we were consistently asked for ID was when our AP didn't scan at a theme park. So your kids will be fine at check-in.

No, You'll be fine. Enjoy, relax and enjoy the resort. We have only been asked 1 time to show ID at check in and that was my cc has on it to check.

Always Grumpy
