Photo ID etc

Our Universal tickets came today and the Disney ones are on their way hopefully!

Can anyone please tell us if we need photo ID when we use our tickets, and if so what you used? I really don't fancy carrying passports around with us all the time but we don't have anything else that we could use. Could we photocopy the photo page on our passport and use that (we could laminate it or something!)


Actually it would be very helpful if someone could talk us through 'park entry procedure'. Last time we came you just stuck your ticket, hopper or whatever in the turnstile and off you went!

We have always used a laminated photocopy of our passport for park entry, changing cheques and using visa. Never yet been questioned about it they have just accepted it as id. We only had to use it the first time we used our park passes at universal then signed our tickets. We then had to sign our names on a sheet of paper each time we used the tickets after that.

Thanks, Claire. That seemed to be the obvious thing to do but seemed too easy! Guess I was making a big problem out of a little problem!!

If you've got a photocard driving licence, that's even easier to carry aroungd as it fits in your purse/wallet!!!!
