Figured I might as well post this here as this appears to be the fountain of all knowledge concerning designing ...

for some reason alot of my fonts seem to be too close together when I use them in Photo elements 3.0.

Anyone know how to space them out? I know in some other packages it is called "kerning" but I did a search and that term doesn't come up in the help files.

Much obliged...

Look up Mojikumi, it's an Asian text option, that will allow you to close the gap between any highlighted text. It's found on the button with the faux bold, faux italic, etc. options.

As far as I know there is no way to spread them apart except by adding spaces between them. If they're too far apart then you can use the Mojikumi to bring them closer.
