Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but... what do you use to edit your photos online. I have a Kodak camera but not real crazy about the software. Any suggestios??

The editing software depends on to what degree you are modifying your photos and how much (if any) you want to spend. Microsoft has its Picture It! (about $50) which does a nice job. The best is Photoshop and its slimmed down but still powerful cousin Photoshop Elements ($99).
Online you could use Ofoto.com or snapfish.com, both include editing software and the ability to print photos for about 20 cents each.

Photoshop Elements for the price is about the best quality photo editing software you can get. And if you look around you can get it for less than $99.

Hey Crzy4Mickey...

DIS has a new photography board..... I am sure there are tons of experts over there who can help you with this...

Personally, I am a Photoshop user, but depending on the extent you need/want to edit your photos can make a difference in the editing software.... :)

If you are a Comcast Internet service subscriber, I know they offer the Photoshow Deluxe for free. Not only can you edit pictures, but also make slideshows of your photos. Maybe other Internet providers offer something like this, but I definitely don't know.

I think Photoshop is the best choice. I use it for all my photo editing. I also use it for a lot of document creation work, especially anything involving scanning in documents or combining text with graphics or merging different items into a single document. It is a very versatile program. I used to use the full Photoshop program but now use Elements and it is great and well worth the price.

I'm not sure how much editing you want to do but I get my pics developed by Ritz/Wolf camera and it came with a free editing software. It's probably basic stuff since it's free.

If you want a free one, www.freeserifsoftware.com has PhotoPlus. It's a fully functional photo editing software similar to Paintshop and Photoshop, and it's perfectly free. The reason it's free is that the company (Serif) offers the older versions in the hopes that you get hooked and then buy the newer version.

I've used PhotoPlus for a couple of years and it does quite a nice job at all the regular editing functions. Of course if you want to do more heavy editing, Photoshop is still the way to go.

I use Paint Shop Pro, only one I've used and I'm pleased with it
