Photo Copy Park Tickets

Having received my park admission tickets in the mail, I promptly photocopied the back as discussed on these boards. After doing so, I was wondering if the photo copy machine could damage the metal strip on the tickets in any way. Does anyone know???

We photocopied ours this past Feb. and we did not have any problems with our tickets, including the ones that were for a different park...and their tickets were cardboard with the strip. I would rest assured!

This may seem like a silly question but, Why would I photocopy my tickets?

In the event you would lose the actual ticket, the photo copy of the back of the ticket provides the necessary information for DWD to replace them for you. A receipt may do the same thing.

LYNSUE took the words right out of my mouth...However, although I have heard they usually will replace the tickets if you have this information, they are not obligated to do so

Gave that Tip to my Ex hubby's Girlfriend and she didnt' listen and lost a ticket last week in a fast pass machine !! boy was she sorry !! Mine a photocopied soon as recieved in my hot little hand

Looks like our visits to WDW will overlap. We will be there 11-4 to 11-9. Will you be sporting the lime green color? Perhaps we might run into each other at the food and wine festival.

Excellent - I wear a few lime green buttons withe my dis name on my Pooh demim backpack -- this is our first Food and Wine I am very excited!

What a good idea. we lost our passes on the last day that they were valid. Thank goodness for the kind staff at The City hall, they replaced them without any hassle at all, even without a receipt. Unfortunately we had been issued with coloured ones, but got very plain ones in return. I will certainly copy the tickets we get for our trip next year.
