Photo connect/star card ap question?

I'm looking into buying a photo connect for my upcoming trips. On the official site it states you need a Florida ap to purchase at the ap rate. Is this accurate? Thank you for your responses!!! 5 days until Diagon Alley!

I answered this in the other thread but I'll answer it here in case someone else goes looking for it. In this case it's a Universal Florida annual pass *** opposed to a Universal Hollywood Annual Pass. It does not require a Florida Resident pass.
