My family used it on our 3 day Universal trip on March. We thought it was a good value for the money and was easy to use. You get one "Star Card" for your family that can be given to any of the photographers or ride photo desks to put pictures on your account.
I would recommend it.

We used it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was great value for money. We got around 50 photos including lots of character photos with the simpsons, a minion, scooby & shaggy, various transformers (don't know their names sorry) and betty boo, marilyn monroe to name a few.

We also got all the ride photos added and had some magic shots done at the entrance to both parks. I was really impressed for the price we paid

I've not used it yet (I'm using it for the first time in January after winning it on another message board). Reading online I've heard mixed results. If you have a smartphone, I'd consider getting a temporary star card the first day and see how many photos you get. As long as you purchase the package by the end of the day you get to keep the photos from that day. If you have a lot of photos get on your smartphone and "prepurchase" the package then redeem it before the end of the day.
