We are going on our first cruise and would like to get the photo book, but it's a 3 day cruise and I don't know if it would be worth it. How many pictures are there? I have two concierge rooms with me my wife and son in one room and my two daughters in the other, will the photo book cover all of us? I paid for both rooms. Y'all's help is always appreciated.

No responses? The common convention is that if it is a nuclear family (parents and children) split across cabins you should be able to include them all. But since I have not personally had the experience I can only parrot what others have reported back.

Are you planning any excursions at the ports (assuming Nassau and Castaway Cay)? If so, this is time you are not on the ship so you will not be able to have photos taken then.

Here are some places where you may be able to get pictures taken:
Embarkation photo in front of a back drop.
On board character meet and greets.
Castaway Cay character meet and greets.
Castaway Cay ship in the back ground.
Castaway Cay family beach random photographer walking around for the first few hours.
Pirate night they usually come to your table in the dining room.
The Disney Fantasy has aqua duck on ride photos, not sure about the Dream.

So if you plan on getting in all of those photos, then sure you could get it and fill the book up. Just remember you have to order it before a set time the night before disembarkation.

If you have your own good enough camera or phone, hand it off to a cast member or other passenger to take your picture. Once you get home lots of online companies, and probably even local stores can put them into a book for you as well.

Thank you!!

We preordered a USB port where you can choose ten pics . We linked our two cabins, but someone from one of the cabins had to be in all of the pics we ordered. My husband and I were in one cabin, son, DIL and grandson in another. One of the three people from their cabin had to be in all the pics we chose for it to qualify. Not a problem for us, since my husband and I were never alone in any of the pictures. Even with facial recogniztion, make sure you go through the "unidentified" pictures-we found several good ones of our group on Castaway Cay in those.

That would be a nuclear family that includes minor children. If the second room has adult children, they aren't included.

That must be something unique to the digital package. I know, when we've purchased the 10 print package, we could select photos from whichever room we wanted. In fact, on one cruse where we were in 3 different rooms, we split the photos we picked 3/3/4 for the three rooms.

With the picture book I believe you get up to 34 or your own pictures. I think the pre load them but you can go through and pick which ones you want. I normally get the picture package and find it worth it because I like to take pictures and there are many photo opportunities and you can always change clothes and take more pictures throughout the day, however it can be time consuming so you would have to try to plan for it.
