Thanks Princess! I labeled one as HDR since I bracketed the three images together, but I'm not sure I'm quite happy with it. It was my first real attempt, so for a first try it's not bad, but if you've got any suggestions I'd love to hear them!!

I did a photowalk with Trey Ratcliff earlier this year. He suggested bracketing at least 5 images.

It is a personal thing - I'm not sure if I want to jump into HDR just yet. Maybe someday.

Keep the pictures coming!

kofslinky, you certainly are not boring me. I love looking at your pictures.

Here's the last of the Disney Trip pictures. I guess this means the trip is actually over.

These are some Strange Things to be studying, unless you're Mike Wazowski.

(If anyone is fluent in Photoshop and can tell me how to boost the rainbows in this pic without destroying the colors in the photo, please let me know how!)

Thank you everyone for the kind words for my pictures. I love looking at everyone's pictures and can't wait to see more!

Love the Little Black Rain Cloud pic Princess. I didn't get to do my shore trip this year and my favorite part was the long quiet walks on the beach as the sun came up early in the morning

I am waiting for my computer to be fixed

There's a video in here on how to upload photos into the forum.

There are a number of image sharing websites such as photobucket and flickr. If you haven't signed up to either, I may be tempted to head to flickr. PB recently changed platforms/service providers and the new version still lacks a number of features.

We just got off the Magic following the Med/Venice cruise. Since she is going in for the extended dry dock soon, I thought the best thing to do ws to try to use the alphabet approach to pay homage to the ship (and, in a few cases, highlights of the cruise ports and in one case to her sister ship)

So here goes:
A is for Atrium

B is for Belle

Hi all! It's been a LONG time since I've posted on this board. I have some neat photos to share, and I think they fit with the "Where I Live" part of the scavenger hunt, a short photo story.

I work in Pittsburgh, and over the weekend a group of very talented people "yarn bombed" one of our bridges. The project is called "Knit the Bridge" and basically our 7th Street Bridge (now called the Andy Warhol Bridge) was covered with knitted and crocheted blankets. They'll stay up until early September, and then they'll be taken down, washed, and given to homeless shelters or animal shelters.

Here's an article about it: Knit the Bridge

So of course I brought my camera to work today and had to check it out on my lunch hour. Absolutely amazing! Every section of the railing on both sides of the bridge was covered with a yarn blanket, both inside (where you can see it when driving across the bridge) and outside (can only see if you're on the river).

Here are some wide angles so you can get some idea of the scope:

And now some close-ups of the handiwork:

(Sorry the bridge abutment is in the way)

I couldn't believe they even covered the railings and every single post on the bridge!

Welllll - I took 3700+ photos in 3 weeks. I had the ABCs in my head when we getting ready for the cruise, but I didn't specifically plan any photos with any specific agenda in mind - except to capture the Disney magic as she is before the refit later this month. As we went, I also set out to capture people being silly at the leaning Tower of Pisa, and capture some of the pretty neat doors we saw along the way.I hve alot of play (hate to call it work) before the rest are ready
