Phone wait times?

I recently purchased a resale contract and called Member Administration today to see if we are in the system yet. I've been on hold 45 minutes so far. Is this normal when calling? Is there a time that is usually better than 3:45pm eastern?

WOW, that seems like a long time. I call MA too to get my information on my resale and I don't think I had any wait. I called about 2pm during the week. Good luck

I'm still holding but I guess I'm not going to find out anything today. I believe they close at 5pm. What a frustrating start to our DVC. Hopefully I have better luck tomorrow. I'll start earlier for sure!

I've never waited more than 3-5 minutes for DVC. If that happens again, I would hang up and call back.

Thanks - hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow. I hoped something was wrong and it wasn't usually like that but you never know. And after being on hold for so long, you hate to hang up. lol

Talking to Member Administration or Accounting departments are not staffed with phone personel to the level as the groups you call to make your various reservations(DVC resorts, RCI, DCL etc).

I had to call Accounting once and was on hold for awhile. Only time I've ever been on hold to make reservations was way back in the day when MS was only open half days on Saturday. It was the 11 month window for Thanksgiving, which my check in day was Saturday and I didn't call when they opened. Was on hold for 20 minutes.
