I have just scheduled my appointment with Rosie for Thrusday, and now that I have, I'm not exactly sure what I should have prepared to discuss with her.

I know flowers, but is there anything else I should have prepared or I should know prior?

We have so much going on this week with our at home reception planning and my dress fitting/tuxes/ect. my head is ready to implode! I just don't want to forget or leave out anything important that I should discuss with her.

hello tinkerfairy,

let me know how it goes. i'm still waiting for my coordinator to call us, and i have no idea what to expect.:thumbsup2

I'm assuming you're doing an Escape/Intimate?? You're going to LOVE Rosie - she's so great!
Make sure you have any questions ready.
If you know the color/type of flowers, that's great, if not, she can help you pick some.
Don't forget "extras" from floral if you want them: unity candle, unity candle arrangement, ceremony decor, rose petals, bridesmaid's bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, hidden Mickey's for the flowers, etc.
Rosie is also the one who arranges your photography and characters (if you're having them). If you're using an outside photographer, she is the one who will schedule your honeymoon photo shoot to substitute for the photography "package" that comes with the Escape wedding.
Don't be afraid to ask her a lot of questions or for ideas! She's wonderful and after our "phone meeting" she e-mailed me a bunch of pictures so that I could get some more ideas.
Good luck!!! :goodvibes

Thanks marywdw :thumbsup2

I hate going into things unprepared and making a lot of Ummm's and Hmmm's, which seems to be happening a lot more often lately :rotfl:

I do have a little list of things I meant to talk over with Tanis, but the majority of them sound like things that I should talk over with Rosie instead.

I've read so much about her on the boards, I'm excited to talk to her, not to mention a little excited about maybe sneaking some little extras in that DH doesn't need to know about quite yet:rotfl2:

I think I did a lot of hmmms and ummmms on the phone - even when I had my list! :rolleyes1 I always feel as though there's something else I meant to ask. I suggest jotting down anything that comes into your head between now and then so that you don't forget!

Our weddings are pretty close together! Can you believe they're coming up so fast???? :scared:
Where are you having it??? We need details! :lmao:
Good luck, you'll love Rosie!

We ended up going with the WP :goodvibes
Some days it seems so surreal, and I can't believe a year ago we booked our trip and I was in a tizzy that we might have to go into a lottery for our date.

For as much as I'm on the DIS you'd think I'd have started a PJ by now, but I haven't :cutie: . I get so caught up in reading every one elses journals and trip reports, I get sucked into that Disney Daydream!

DF can't understand why I'm so addicted to the DIS, but my mom is grateful for the wealth of information I've shared with her about, well, pretty much all things WDW.

Rosie is in charge of floral/entertainment, and as marywdw said, she is GREAT!
I got a email telling me to set up the appointment with her at just about 2 months out.

We had a pretty funny conversation about wedding dresses and bridal party dresses from the 80's:rotfl:.

No pressure to add on extra things, and she emailed me the perfect color of roses on the first try:thumbsup2

She's one of those people you get on the phone with, and you feel like you've known her for years, at least that's the vibe I got.
