phone or online reservations?

just curious if this matters or not.I am really thinkig about doing the MYW package with dining.we need the value resorts......does it make a diff AT all if i phone it in or make ressies online(u can do that right?).....just did not know if u could get freebies,,extras,,etc upgrades,,if u talk with someone.....sorry for the dumb question.

I like to make reservations over the phone. I've never booked using the online system but I have looked up prices online. I know a few people who have booked online and will not use it again due to quote discrepancies/lost reservations. However, I'm sure there's plenty of people who have used online reservations and have never had any problems. Good luck and enjoy your vacation!

My experience is that sometimes the on-line will tell you that there is no room availability but, if you call CRO, the same dates are actually available to book.

Also, when you are dealing with the CRO directly, its a little more convenient get quotes on different types of accomodations for the same dates at the same or different resort or to check availability over different ranges of days.

Use the phone. The website is screwy. It keeps showing me my original reservation. I wouldnt trust it.

Heck, my online profile shows no vacation insurance (I know I have it in their systems) and it shows Standard Room (this is really prefered in their systems)

I prefer making reservations for a hotel over the phone. You can ask questions and make requests much easier on the phone.

You can use AAA with WDW CRO. As for the requests, well that depends on where you stay.

I booked on line.....and when I received my confirmation in the mail I called
and spoke to agent...got her name...paid for the trip........and I will follow up
a month before I go !!!!!!!!. Had no problems as of yet!!!!!!!
