phone number to reach dining directly

Hello,

I tried two different phone numbers and not had any luck. I can't do this online. I need a person on the phone to help me. Is there a direct number for disney dining? The first number I called said it was out of service (or something, maybe that they weren't taking any more calls today). The second number I called, I was on hold for 2 hours, then connected and she then told me she needs to connect me to Disney dining! I called disney dining, I don't know what happened. Now the wait is over 2 hours on this second connection.

So maybe I'll just try at 7am tomorrow morning, what number should I call?

I have 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) as the main Disney Dining number.
For large groups over 8 people, I have 407-824-1391.

If you're calling to cancel a reservation and the app isn't letting you, you could try a web browser. Sometimes those work when the app doesn't. Also, don't waste too much of your vacation waiting on hold. If you can stop by the restaurant to tell them what happened they can be quite accommodating. Also, with long wait times I've found the billing department quite forgiving on refunding the $10/person fee if you get charged - give them a call after you are back home.

Thanks all! I tried both of those numbers and they still had really long waits. And after spending hours on hold unsuccessfully I tried something else.

I called DVC member services (only a 10 min wait) and they were able to fix my problem (even though it was a dining problem).

This is what the problem was. I have a large party and the restaurant will not allow for a booking that large. I don't mind sitting at two tables, but if I try to get 2 reservations it tells me there is a conflict (because I already have one reservation at the same time). There was availability at the restaurant, I just couldn't book it because I already had something booked. DVC member services phone was able to book a second reservation at the same time as the first one using the same MDE account.
