Phone number to call ahead for room requests for special needs?

Hoping someone has the information I am looking for? Also, those of you that have called ahead have you found it to be helpful? I know calling the regular lines and making requests isn't always effective.

Disney will not garenty you any specie room request since they never know what they will have. what if a guest dose not leave, what if the room needs repair or a number of other things but you can call the hotel that you are staying at and let them know your needs and the earlier you get there the better chance of getting the room you would like.

Yes, I am aware they do not guarantee anything but there is a number specifically for special needs to call ahead. I'm hoping someone might have that information.

I think there is a number for information about specle needs in the parks but that is just ganral and they too do not garenty things I would call the hotel that you are staying at as that would be your best bet and let them know what your needs are you will more then likely need your confirmation number.
