Phone interviews

Hi all! I recently applied for the Cultural Rep. Program, and just wondered how the phone interviews work - do they email you notice of a date and time it will happen, or do they just call out of the blue???? I just hope they call or let me know in the next few weeks, since I'll be in WDW for two weeks at the end of August and don't want to miss it.

At the end of the presentation/e-presentation (if the CR have one), they will give you a number to call and set up a time and date to have your phone interview so it won't be out the blue. I don't know how long the interview is for the Cultural Rep program, but the interview for the College Program is around 10-15 minutes long, so it might be the same for the CR. If the CR does not have a presentation, just go to the website and see if they have a number you can call or an email address on there, so you can ask them about your interview. I don't know much about the International Program, but I do know that their process is quite different from what we do here in the states.

I know you first have to go through an agency in your country before you get to talk to disney directly.

Thanks for the info, but I've already got that far. In Canada we have to apply through Yummy Jobs, and the email after applying said they'd be contacting me in the 'next few weeks'. I've emailed them the dates I will be away, but no response as of yet. Cross your fingers!

I live in Calgary, AB and I just did my phone interview on Friday with Yummy Jobs. It was all pretty basic questions: any visable tatoos/piercings, do you have valid passport, available for 2010, what can you tell guests about the country your representing, why do you want to work for Disney, what area would you like to work merch/food/attractions....etc. All in all it lasted about 10-15 min and they will be contacting me again in the next month or so with dates and locations for in person interviews.

Thanks for the info PrincessBelle - I received an email from Yummyjobs two days ago saying they would be contacting me within 3 weeks for my phone interview - do they email you a time they will be calling, or do they just call???
Are you applying for the one year program as well? I think it starts in February, and I'm very excited about the possibilities! Good luck to you!

Had my phone interview yesterday - she had emailed me she would be calling within the week, then called the next day. I think it went well, and she said the same as PrincessBelle - contact me within a month with the dates and locations of in-person interviews. Very excited!
