Phone help needed.

I have an Iphone here in the Netherlands.
Here you have to be with T-Mobile (like you must have AT&T).

I can make my Iphone sim-lock free so i can use whatever company i like (or is the cheapest)....

Now i need your help.
I want to make my Iphone sim-loch free and use a pre-paid card when i'm in the US to call all my friends and also the most importaint reason: use internet!!!!

Can somebody tell me if i use a pre-paid card (verizon, t-mobile, AT&T, Net10) if there is internet possible (it says mobile web at verizon but that's something else i think.

Can i buy an let say net10 phone plus 300 min airtime card and put that card (sim-card) in my Iphone????

Does anybody has suggestions or tips??

Please also note, I do not think the iPhone is compatible with tmobiles 3g service in the sates, so if you need 3g check out ATT prepaid compatible plans.

You dial the number and hit send.

Then you hold the phone to your ear and wait for the other party to answer.

Then you talk.

When you are finished talking, then you hang up the phone.

From what i understood (i did some research) there is no pre paid AT&T possible for an Iphone.
So no #G network, but at least it's internet....
