Phone# for re-making Wedding Cake

Our 1st Anniversary is coming up on May 2nd and we are going back to WDW to celebrate. I remember someone saying you can have your Wedding cake re-made for the two of us. Does anyone have the phone number to call and has anyone had this done?

You can just call the Grand Floridian’s main number at 407-824-3000 and ask to be connected to the bakery. We had them do a replica of our cake this past December, and it turned out great! Here’s a picture:

What do they charge to remake a cake?

If my memory serves me, I think our 2-tier one was around $70-$80. I think a 1-tier is around $40-$50. That’s just a guess though.

I'm very disappointed, I called the GF bakery and she told me I had to go through my EM. I just rec'd a call back from my EM's assistant and they can only make the top layer, they can not add the hidden Mickey's or the floral. I would be getting a plain white single layer cake.

JoD, that just plain doesn’t make any sense. Why would you have to go through your EM when your wedding is over? I would try calling the GF bakery back and asking to speak with someone different. Maybe the person at the bakery thought you wanted a cake for your wedding, not a re-creation.

Thanks so much for the advice. I called the GF bakery back and I told the girl what happened, she said my EM's assistant was incorrect and she took my order and is making my Wedding cake replica with the hidden Mickey's. She can't put the floral on it but atleast the cake will look the same.
I am so excited and happy.
