phone charging case?

...or a lipstick tube style charger? ....or a Credit card size charger? what to buy,what to bring....what works for you? I have an iphone 4s, which has a not great battery life(imho) but using it for pics will drain it within a couple of hours..so I know I have to carry a charger, but what type really works well, is fairly inexpensive,and works with my phone? I have the lipstick style tube one, but those cases seem so easy to use....am I wrong?

I have both and the worked out great while in disney.. It will tell you how many charges you can get.. My 2200 about one good charge.. My 4200 one I got about 2 good charges... I charged while I was watching shows.. They tend to overheat charging in a pocket or purse

I have a Jackery Giant which is great. It has two charging ports. One charges at 1.0 the other port is faster and charges at 2.0. I can full charge my phone in 20 minutes. and I get 4-5 charges from the Jackery before it needs charged.

the charging cases.... how does this work? does it charge while you're using the phone, or do I turn it on if the battery starts dying? they look so convenient, wish I knew more about them....

I have a Morphie charging case for my iPhone 5. You can turn the charging function on and off.

well,I just tested my little tube size charger.... left in plugged overnight to phone,charger completely spent, phone at 88% yikes not good! I am now shopping for a more reliable backup,as this phone has a dismal battery IMHO compared to my old android (now my ds has a better battery than I do!)
