Phone Cards as Tips???

What's the Best source/company for phone cards???
What increments do they come in?
Do you generally give them IN PLACE of cash, or what?

We buy ours from Sams Club or Costco - and generally go with 60 minute cards. I'll use them for some people instead of cash (for instance, merchandising and programming staff - who cannot accept cash).

For others, I'll put it in with our cash (Servers, host/hostess). They really appreciate them!!!!!

We've always given phone cards in addition to the recommended tip amount. They are very appreciated especially by our serving team on the last cruise. They kept gushing about them at breakfast the last day.

I just bought mine Sunday - costs are under 3 cents per minute so the 60 minute cards are only $1.79 or so - doesn't seem like much of a tip so I got the packs of 120 minutes (7 cards in pack) for about $24.

How many cards should I pick up for Flounders? Do the same employees work the whole cruise? I would hate to have someone watch my boys and then not be able to find them when I hand them out.
