So I am visiting a friend in England next week, who just brought a new house and currently has no landline, internet or cell phone? (Don't ask)?????

I am wondering how I will stay in touch with my Hubby and 3 kids who are staying in the US.... I have an ipone 4 but my carrier has no service in England....

Any ideas?

You can sign up for a free SIM card from Vodaphone and have it sent to your friend's address as long as your iphone is unlocked. You can see all their range on the Vodaphone's website.

Yeah Americans don't generally tend to have unlocked phones.
Buy a very cheap pay as you go phone (can cost about a tenner sometimes) and just use that :)

:goodvibes

I'm guessing the wifi part will still work if you were to go some where that you could use theirs mc Donald's for example. Use Skype/face time

We make FaceTime calls over wifi when we're abroad as its free. So maybe that or Skype?
