Had a message this week from a 321 area code (FL) from someone wanting to talk to me about my "Disney Vacation property." Seemed odd to me, that they didn't specifically refer to it as "Disney Vacation Club," though they did have my name and phone number.
Tried to call back today, and got a voicemail, though nothing indicated it was DVC.
I'm thinking this is a marketing (or other) call from another company? Maybe they got my info from the title records?
Just not sure if I should pursue trying to call back or just ignore it.
(FWIW, we're direct owners with small contracts at 2 resorts-- most recent purchase in January)

Thoughts?
Thank you!

I've gotten those calls before. I assume it's a timeshare company trying to get me to buy/sell.

Thanks-- that's what I figured. Makes sense that a DVC cast member would specifically say so, and this person didn't.
Carry on!

It may be legit, it may not be legit. Why risk it? I don't do business with any company that cold calls me.

I get calls periodically from people seeing if i wanted to sell my contract. Only once have i actually picked up and told them i wasn't interested. Somehow they collect our info from the OCC and track down our phone numbers. I would think that a DVC call would have a 407 area code, but i guess there could be other satellite locations

It's a legit call, some company wants to buy your DVC contract. It's not DVC but some other company. They might have gotten your information from public records or from DVC who can share your contact info if you haven't opted out of them doing so. The opt out form is mailed to all owners once per year and is included in your dues bill.
