Phone call from WDW about IASW

I thought I would share my astonishment in hearing from WDW. I wrote an email about a week ago about my disappointment with IASW closing earlier then expected. We specifically planned our trip before rehab so my niece could ride it. Anyway I got a call tonight from WDW executive office. She said she wanted to let me know that they recieved my email and she has shared it with everyone. She said they moved it up so that it would finish earlier next year. She told me Snow White was finished up early. I told her that this was the only ride my niece talks about and we were just disappointed after all the planning that she won't experience it. She said she was sorry and hoped she would enjoy other things as well.

I was really impressed that my email got acknowlege with a phone call. It was really nice to know that someone actually read my email and called to say they were sorry. I mean nothing was or could have been done about it, but hearing that they were sorry and understood my frustration was great.

Thought some might be interested.

This is great. I know it doesn't change anything and she will still miss it but it sure helps that they at least acknowledged your concern.

I am really glad to hear that! We honestly planned on seeing IASW too because it was down for rehab in Sept. 2001 when we went and our 2 DS's missed it. I have only seen it once (on my honeymoon) and know that the boys would have just loved it!
Anyhow, I am thrilled to know that they gave you a call today!
