I've noticed there's tons of people from the Philadelphia area acoss the Dis, so I decided to look for advice.

Flying out of PHL on 5/6...returning 5/13... who do you use for parking? Basically we're looking for the most affordable and convenient lot... I can't seem to find any place less than $9/day... I cringe at the thought of budgeting another $70, but there's no way around it I suppose...

Any input would be great.

Winner is a winner. Use one of the private lots . . . much better than the city owned lots at the airport!
Look for coupons, on-line, in Sunday's paper and in those coupon magazines and mailings that often go straight into the recycling.

I just used winner a few weeks ago. All went well.

Happy to report for trip both ways the drivers had no problem driving my VW with stick shift. But the one driver I rode with admitted it is hard because many of the younger guys are taught, but have no way to practice(so they are not that good at it).

It was NICE on the way home to just jump in my car and zoom home.

I always use FastTrack (formerly Rosenbluth) at the Essington exit, coming from the DE/southern PA direction.

I use Winner all the time too. I pay the extra $10 for the valet service so I just hop in my own car & leave from the airport. In addition to the coupon, I belive they also give AAA discounts. I've tried most of the lots off airport & Winner is the best.

We also used Winner last time and plan on using them again this summer. It was extremely convenient. We used a coupon for about $6-$7/day...and used the $10 valet service for our return flight. It was definitely worth it. Much better than using the Philly airport economy lot!

I am leaning toward using Winner for our trip also. We would hope to use the shuttle to the airport as we don't have an extra seat and would like to use the white glove on the way home. Do the shuttles run quickly as most people are probably driven to the airport in their car? How do you "settle" your bill on the way home without going to their lot? And who do you usually tip using this service?

We've used them twice since July and it's so convenient esp on the way home with the White Glove service. Sorry, I don't know about their shuttle service.
When you first arrive and tell them you want WG service, they will take your cc info (be sure to give coupon at arrival.) When they drop your car off on your return, they will bring a cc slip for you to sign and copy for you to keep.

I have to admit the whole thing is very convenient and we've used the Economy lot so many times but I don't like how the drivers drove my car at Winner. I almost have to close my eyes and try to breathe calmly cuz both times they exceeded the speed limit by almost 20 mph. (Essington Ave. is 35 and he did 55.) Thank God for the speed bumps in the terminal area or he would have gone 50 thru there! :crazy2: Am I the only one who feels like this? :confused3 Even dh felt he was driving like a butt h**e.

On our way to the airport I swear I'll never use them again but then when they drop my car off as we walk out the door (we had carry on only so we could call from the gate) then I love them again.

I've just started using Winner and they are great. Highly recommend them. I'm getting organized for a trip to Santa Monica tomorrow and it reminded of a question I have. What is the appropriate tip for the driver that drops me off at the airport and picks me up? I tipped $10 each way in the past. In the theme of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, is that too much, too little, or juuusssst right?
