PHL Ampco, Express Park or Airport parking?

What would you choose?

Does anyone have any experiences / opinions about these parking facilities?

Am I correct that Ampco is self-park & not valet? I know it offers indoor & outdoor but I don't want to give anyone my keys!

Any input would be appreciated.

We use Ampco all the time. We really like them. You can either park inside or outside. Outside costs less. After you park you just stand by your vehicle with your bags and the shuttle comes around to pick you up. You get to take your keys with you. When you arrive back in Phila. just use the courtesy phone in baggage claim to call them and wait outside at the parking shuttle sign and they will pick you up. FYI we usually park inside especially in the winter.

We have used Ampco at PHL several times. Never had a problem. Yes it is self-park (you keep your keys). They pick you & your luggage up at your car and upon return they drop you off at your car.

Can't comment on any others, Ampco is the only one we have used in Philly.

We have three little ones, so we use Pacifico Valet. You drive to their lot, their driver takes you to PHL in your car. It is much easier not having to unload the car then load luggage and three kids into a shuttle to get to PHL.

We usually park at Express Park. Once, we parked at Sun Park on Essington Ave....BIG mistake! The people there were so rude, didn't care and had the "you're bothering me" attitude. We will never use that lot again.

We never had a bad experience at Express Park. Everyone who works there are very nice.

I would never park at a valet lot. You never know what's going on with you car while you're away. Recently, there was a story posted about someone who parked at a valet lot, in Philadelphia. They went to California for a week. Their car was involved in a hit and run in Harrisburg!

We ALWAYS use Express Park. They are the nicest bunch of people, evan at 5:00am. Very quick for taking to the airport and pick-up. Never a problem.

I have been using Ampco for years for both business and pleasure. Always have had excellent service. I believe there is a coupon on their website for $1 off per day. Sorry I don't have the website handy but try a Google searcch. I also get $1 off per day with my AAA card. A coworker told me that you can use both the AAA card and their coupon. I have never tried that, thoug. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
