I told someone I know about it (another mom) to which she replied a little disgustedly: "You watch that with Trey?" (he's my 4 y.o)

To which I replied: "Are you kidding? I watch it without Trey!"

I am definitely a P&F fan. I'm gonna be in the parks in 17 days and it would be awesome to meet them.(I know it's unlikely but it would still be awesome).

Big fans in our house too. DS, who listens to the Podcast in the car with me but is not always as interested as DD and me, perked right up for this discussion. Conversation went something like...umm, she not singing it very well (sorry Julie! he is 9, what can i say ) ... I think there are 105 days of summer vacation...yes, they are step brothers...then he lapsed into the theme song.

DH watches even without the children.

I'm going to be at a DIS meet that day, in Hershey Park. boooo

No kids here...but DH and I both enjoy P&F (watching it right now as a matter of fact). Would love it if P&F were in the parks for my Nov. trip! (and my summer vacation is nowhere near 104 days).

The longest episode of the summer, Disney XD on 8/2. P&F travel the world. Already got the dvr set. Me and dd (5) will watching, eating popcorn.. They should do a character meal at DHS with P&F, and or Pixars characters, instead of Playhouse disney.

I have a feeling that is up and coming. When I was at the World two weeks ago, there was a TON of Phineas & Ferb merchandise. I never noticed that much before. I am sure they are going to start having them around the parks more often, especially DHS.

It's such a smart (and silly) show...just great!

A month or so ago, I tried to tell my priest and his wife about the show. We were talking about Disney cartoons, other old (WB)cartoons, and such, so I had to bring this one up--especially when they started quoting Pinky & the Brain--trying to take over the world...which led me to bring up the Tri-State area and P&F. They stared at me blankly as if I was making everything up

I've been wondering about the summer vacation length... I'm guessing they fudged a bit to make the song work. Most school years run between 180-187 days, so depending on holiday breaks, spring breaks, and other days off, I guess it could happen...

Anyhow, I would love to have some really interesting Phineas and Ferb things added to the parks, as well...not just merchandise.

Time will tell...

Re: the "104 days in summer vacation" line-

Depending on when Memorial Day and Labor Day fall, there can be 104 days between. June- 30 days; July, 31 days; August, 31 days. Add in almost a week in September before Labor Day and almost a week in May after Memorial Day, and you get your "104 days".

I don't know of any schools that get out by Memorial Day and don't go back until Labor Day... maybe the Tri State area has a shortened school year.
