Mmh, I guess somewhere out there may just be another lifeform.

I, actually, am in love with this topic. I wonder sometimes like, what if history isn't as it seems? What if, before the cavemen times, there was advanced technology that was strong enough to wipe out our memory of the times, and all the technology with it? What if scientists go digging in Puerto Rico and find some sort of advanced technology? What if life just repeats itself with different people?? The questions are endless. We can't possibly be the only living forms out there.

Religious Section:

For those of us who believe in God and heaven, what do you think God does to us when we die? Does He reuse our souls? Or maybe we stay in heaven for enernity. But wouldn't that be boring?
And what about hell? Are the souls in hell tourtured continuously, being ripped
and torn and flamed and beaten? Or does God have a time limit for them, where after the fury of hell they may be reincarnated? I find myself wondering if at any moment, any one moment, could or would God could send something to kill us? Are we abusing the privelage of living? I believe we are. People these days emit so much gas;; so much wastes and poisons. It could actually be the end to the human race. And we, as teenagers, may be around for it. And if not us, then our children. Or our childrens children. It's a horrid thought.

But seriously. You have to wonder if all those stars out there are empty. You have to wonder if Mars has some form of life;; if something out there is just as advanced or even more advanced as us. Imagine;; you're 46 years old;; watching the TV, when suddendly BAM. The news flashes on. You pay close attention. What's that? A local scientist has created the technology to launch a satelite far into the universe. He plans to use this satelite to detect other life forms out there. It will take approximately a year for it to get to it's destination. Then the question will be popped;; are we really alone? Now picture this;; about 11 months later you're watching the same old TV. The news once again flashes. You find yourself staring at an image of a life form quite like yourself. Arms, legs, a head. But it is a light blue. It thrives on Co2. It's a bit more advanced then us. It will be undercover until further research is made.

This is a strange yet possible future for us. I await the possibitlites with great pleasure. =]

But where's the end? When does it start repeating itself again? Anddd, are the people the same?

I refuse to even entertain the idea that we're alone. we're one small planet in the middle of one small solar system in one small galaxy. and you honestly believe that there is nothing else out there in the vastness of everything else that we've not seen yet? There is no way we're the only intelligent life out there.
