Hi - Any suggestions for a reasonably price hotel in Philadelphia? Would like to be within walking distance to Liberty Bell, etc. We are just staying for one night on our way to Wildwood Nj.

I haven't stayed in a hotel in the area but I can look out my office window and see the Liberty Bell and Independance Hall.

For what I consider a reasonable price and a very short walk, I'd say -
Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District

400 Arch St
Philadelphia, PA 19106

There are better, reasonable hotels (like Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill Hotel) but they are a further walk.

Check out TripAdvisor for some hotel reviews. You can narrow your search by area of the city. Choose "old city" and you'll have a list of several places to choose from. Enjoy! Philly is such a fun town!

What do you consider reasonably priced?

Stayed at the courtyard marriott last year, and it was nice. Cheaper and much bigger rooms than the downtown marriott next door, where we usually stay.

The courtyard sounds good. they allow 5 in a room and it's in our budget. Is the walk far to the liberty Bell?

15 minutes. There is a maggianos across the street, plus the reading market, the largest food court you've ever seen (not open for dinner).

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at Penns Landing this winter. Close to the interstate and a quick walk to the Liberty Bell and Constitution Center. I got it for $89 a night off Priceline and breakfast was included. Parking was only $25 a night which was better than pretty much every other hotel.

We just stayed here in April and loved it. We could walk to everything. The room was nice and plenty of room for the four of us. (Bigger than a Disney value, that's for sure!)
