Does anyone know if there is a hotel near the Philadelphia Airport that offers free parking for an entire vacation if you spend one night in the hotel? We heard from a friend that there is a hotel near Newark Airport that has such an offer. We might consider spending the night prior to our flight if we can find a hotel that would allow us to park our car there for the entire week for free. If not, we might just drive down early in the morning and park at the airport or one of the hotel parking lots and pay the daily fee. Thanks.

Do a Google on Hampton Inn and PHL. There was one within a mile with parking and a shuttle but we edned up making other arrangements.

We stayed at that Hampton, near the airport. Free parking, and the hotel was fine for the night. They even had a breakfast bar in the morning. There was a shuttle to the airport, also.

We've stayed at both Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn. They both have a free shuttle to the airport, and the Comfort Inn has breakfast items in the lobby which is inlcluded with your room price.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn several times at the park & fly rate. It's about $25 more than the normal discounted room rate, but you get a sticker to put on your dashboard, and you park in the P&C lot across the street. There is a free shuttle to the terminals.

We parked at the Hilton for 14 days for free, and the room was only around $100/night with tax. That was a great deal!

We are going to drive down from Easton and spend the night near the airport prior to our 7:00 AM flight. Now we just have to decide where to stay.

We had a bad experience with Comfort Inn. When we arrived the night before our flight out of Philly we were told that the shuttle was already full for the next morning. My DH had to drive myself and the three kids and luggage to the aiport, drop us off, go back to the hotel and park and take a cab back to the airport. On the way home he had to do it in reverse. This year we're just going to take a limo to the airport early that morning.

SIDE NOTE:

DUCKLITE - I haven't seen you posting for awhile and was getting worried. Completely off topic - we are planning on doing the GRAND I this summer and I remember you used it for a wishes cruise and wondering how you liked it and any tips. BTW How is the new house?

We just booked the Days Inn (Chester) for $58 for the night plus $2/day to park. Now we don't have to worry about driving down from Easton at 3:30 AM and having some type of problem. See you at WDW! :cool1:

Hi and thanks! I've been swamped with work!

The hosue is great, leaving in about a week to go down, I'll be spending most of my weekends in January there, and flying back to NJ for work in between. DH will be staying there the whole month!

We've been on the Grand One three times now, it's incredible and I can't wait to do it again!

Sheraton does as well. They have the Sheraton Suites and the Sheraton Four Points.

the marriot is connected to the airport. that would be the easiest way, but its about 175 night. for car parking we are using

www.priorityairportparking.com

its 7.95/day wiht coupon you print online. they also have car repair service and washing. transportation to the airport is included. check it out!

Just remember with the Marriott, parking is additional.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn last year. It was under $100 for the night and included up to two weeks of parking. We ate dinner in the hotel - kids ate free so it was quite reasonable (although service was VERY slow). The shuttle was crowded, but we made it to the airport with no problem. On the return, we were told to call AFTER we got our bags. We waited quite a while for the shuttle and again it was crowded. They took us right to our car. Not sure if this is always the case, but it took an incredibly long time for our bags to come out (I believe it was close to an hour!!!). Guess that's why the Holiday Inn said to call after you got your bags. This year we're flying out of Allentown (couldn't pass up those cheap Delta fares) and will probably stay overnight and leave the car at the Sheraton Four Points. So far I haven't found any other hotels around ABE that offer the park, sleep and fly option.
