Well guys, the day has come. :( It's time to go home. We slept in this morning, had our final breakfast at the food court, then checked our baggage at the bell desk. We then headed for our final good-bye at MGM. We asked the kids where they wanted to go back, and they picked MGM. Rock-n-Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror! Of course! What was I thinking?! When we first got there it was packed. Unfortunately, this was an EE day, and we knew that would be the case, but that's where everybody wanted to spend our last few hours. We went to RnR, and, surprisingly no line. Then we found out it was down temporarily. Bummer! Our last chance to ride! This can't be! So we went on over to Tower of Terror. A line, but not too bad. We had been able to get a fast pass at RnR and the guy said when we came back, if it was still down, we could use the fastpass anytime. Good enough! After TofT, we went back and it was running. Yee-hah! That's really all we wanted to do again so we decided to do some final shopping, then go over to Sci-Fi and try to get in for lunch. No way! It was 11:00 and the wait without PS was not until after 3:40! Ok, fine, so we were determined to get into a sitdown for our final lunch, so we decided to try the Brown Derby. Walked in and had a 5 minute wait! When I saw the menu I thought, uh oh, the kids are not gonna like this! But they ended up ordering the quesadillas. My husband had a 10 oz. New York Strip steak, and wouldn't you know it, he had to send it back cuz it was still bloody. He's had all the luck this trip! I had this pasta with chicken (can't remember the fancy name!). It was very tasty. Husband loved the steak...the second one. With a beer and 3 sodas total came to$59.21.

After lunch, we decided to take a stroll through the shops until time to get back to the hotel. There's a little, almost hidden shop that sells old , and very expensive autographed pictures of stars and celebreties. Also some of their clothing they wore in different movies. There was a little old guy that took us over to one side of the store and pulled out a big bag. He said he wanted our help identifying who some people were. He started pulling out hats and putting them on and doing voices! We guessed nearly everyone of them. He was so cute. We had a great ending to MGM.

Had to catch the bus back to resort and wait for Tiffany towncar to pick us up. The Limo driver had informed me he would be the one to pick us up, in the towncar. At about 5 min. to 4:00, our scheduled pick-up time, I started to become a little worried. First of all, we had just found out the evening before that the Houston airport was shut down until Sunday morning. We could not get any information on our flight. So I didn't want to be late. We went and found a phone book and just as we were about to call them, a Limo drove up. Now, I had planned for a Limo to pick us up, but not take us back. And, this was NOT the same guy. In fact, he was much cuter! His name was Gino, and he looked and sounded like one, let me tell you! He got out of the car and said, "Phillips family". Hey, I'm not saying a word! What a fantastic end to a fantastic trip, huh?

Well, that's about it. For this being our first time to go, I think we did a hell of a lot! Yes, we were tired, we were grumpy and my feet killed me everyday. But, to see my 17 yr. old son, who thinks he's too cool for everything, smiling with Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet with their arms around him....who could not love that?

Oh, by the way, the flight was right on time. Poor Houston, though!

Thanks for taking time to read my reports, it's been fun. Next, we will figure out how to get our over 200 digital photos, well, the good ones, posted. That will be fun:confused:
