Did you read the story about the Phillie fan puking on a cop and his family on PURPOSE? And did you know that Phillie stadium has a booking desk downstair to process all those they get arrested at the game. So I think that Phillies fans are the worst around.

I agree that they are not kind to anyone, including one another. But neither are Yankee fans. I have been to many baseball games - I have attended games in 31 stadiums. No fans are worse than Yankee fans, IMO.

This is strictly my opinion, but I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Probably. Games haven't been 3 hours since the 90s. They're up to about 4 now... it's ridiculous!!

Same here!!! Yankee fans were just convinced that their big money could buy him. Got so sick of hearing that during the playoffs!

I'm happy for Cliff to be where he wants to be, and I admit the Phillies have great pitching...but Lee didn't win the World Series for the Rangers....so I wouldn't count your chickens yet.

I don't know about that. The puking guy didn't know that it was a cop (not that it excuses his dreadful behavior), but I'll bet those Yankee fans who spat on Kristen Lee knew exactly who she was.

As far as "all those" fans who get arrested at games...I've been to more than a few games in Philadelphia over the years (about 40 of them). I've personally seen exactly 1 person arrested at the park in all that those years. My guess is that Phillies' fans are no worse and no better than those of most other teams with long histories.

Apparently one or two isolated incidents is enough to warrant an opinion of how Philadelphia operates. There was a judge at Eagles games for a year or two but not anymore. I guess the fans from your city are perfect and I bet you have been to a couple of games to really know.

There are still 162 games to play. But what team wants to face Halliday, Lee, Oswalt, Hamels and whoever their fifth starter is? If everyone stays healthy, who will be the favorite? The Phightens.
