Just a quick pop-in!

Cincy Steve - Don't be so fast to rule out Philly. What else are you gonna do, take care of a baby or something? Congrats to you and Krista, BTW. Seriously, you should jump on board!

Lou - More good thoughts coming your way.

Jodi - Nervous Nellie? Fretting Fannie? More like Psychotic Psally or psomething. Don't tell anyone, but I'm getting a little ansty too (what to wear, what to eat, Jodi-stop, what pace, blah, blah, blah).

Dave - I'm sure you're already gone, but have a good trip. Take care of that hip.

Sara - How was the TM run? Is it warming up any this weekend? It was in the teens yesterday morning and they're calling for low 60's by Monday:scared1: .

Stephanie - Are you shooting for sub-4 or taking a more leisurely approach?

Theta Kappa Mu Delta - How is the knee, BTW?

I'm hitting the road (or the TM if it's too windy) for some sort of double digit effort this morning. I'm not too concerned about it, so I'll probably get my buttocks kicked!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Good Morning Everyone: :surfweb:

I'm waking up to catch a 7:00am flight, uuugh... gotta get my coffee to get going though.

Mike and Cindy- I'm heading down to your neck of the woods. My meeting's in DC. My girls keep pointing out it's my 3rd trip to DC since October. I have my run all planned for when I arrive. I thought I would try to run around Hayne's Point again. I'd like to take a picture of that Awakening statue.

Sara- Good luck on your TM run - or did you run yesterday?

Colleen- I'm curious how your knee is holding up too.

Stephanie- I can feel your excitement for this race. Have fun. I can't wait to hear how you do in your first "big" race.

Hi Jodi :wave2: I'll be thinking of you as I run in DC today. Hayne's Point is about where you ditched me in the MCM. ;)

Cincy Steve- Come on and join us in Philly!

Mike- Did you get your run in outside? I'm hoping it's not too windy because I really wanted to run outside today. Give my best to your DW.

OK, I gotta hit the shower.

Go Steelers!!!

Mike--pace is yet to be determined. I think we are gonna start with the 4:15 goal and go from there

And just so ya'll know I brought up the idea of Philly to DH last night and his reponse was "That sounds like fun" So just maybe. DBIL's GF is from Philly and they are planning to move that direction as soon as she can sell her house in Charleston. So we'll see......

Wow, there are certainly a lot of posts. What, are you all getting ready for a marathon or something?

Colleen - I'm sorry to hear that you lost your dad so young.

Sara - how are your ears?

Cincy Steve - from a little lurking on the other thread, I see that congratulations are in order!

Stephanie - Yay! Come join us for Philly!

Howard - Thanks for looking into the Philly registration.

Dave - I love the pictures you posted from your race. It looked really cold! Seeing as I slept in today, you probably already landed in D.C. by the time I got up, but I hope you had a safe trip. I actually went out to the Awakening for the first time post MCM when my dad and sister were visiting for Christmas. We drove out there. Even the drive seemed really long! No wonder it seemed so long running it! Apparently, the Awakening is actually going to be moved pretty soon, so I hope you were able to get a pic.

Mike - Psychotic Psally is a good one. I'll have to think of some more. BTW, on Jan. 1 they announced a revised course for the National Marathon. From what I remember of looking at the old map, the course is pretty much the same, it is just run in a different direction.

Thank you for the graphic visual now in my head :scared:

You're welcome:thumbsup2 Running is nothing if not gross, right?;)

Cindy - Where do you find your motivation to run in this weather when there's no race in your immediate future?:confused3 Oh yeh, it's called dedication:rotfl: . NICE JOB!!
I was using the no upcoming race as an excuse to be lazy last week, but that is not really true. The National Half is in less than three months!

Cindy
I think I need some snot rocket firing lessons. Which way do you aim when it's windy?

Wait, I'm supposed to have a strategy?:confused3 Maybe I need some lessons from Jodi?

No running for me yesterday - So, I am off to run some miles. Not sure how many. 8 sounds about right. Tonight DH and I are going to the Kennedy Center to see My Fair Lady. Have a good weekend everyone!

UGH!! The ears are NOT good:mad: . Running just makes it so much worse -it feels like I'm drowning:headache: . I'm still doing the allergy meds and the Nasonex. I did 8 miles on the TM this morning and my head feels like it's going to explode now:sad2: .

I will post later because I have to try to nap and/or hang upside down to drain my head...

Theta Kappa Mu Delta - How is the knee, BTW?

Mike and Dave, thanks for asking. Well, I got my 7 miles in this afternoon in 1:28. I am happy with that. I was doing 1 mile run/0.5 mile run intervals. I could definitely feel the knee.:guilty:

I am planning 1.5 walk/0.5 run intervals for the marathon. My walking pace is between 13:45 and 14:15 and running between 9:00-9:30.

I was hoping to find someone to run with, but my intervals are too unconventional. I plan to start off in the blue C corral and then when Jen and Mel (Chimera) catch me I will try and stay with them as long as I can. Their intervals have them running MUCH more than I am.

Sara, drink, drink, drink and flush that stuff out. I had a scratchy throat last night when I went to bed and drank a glass of water with Airbourne and another glass this morning. I am planning on drinking this twice a day until the marathon.

Cindy, I hope you enjoy My Fair Lady!

Mike, Psychotic Psally or psomething!:rotfl:

Speaking of FanPsaNellie, where is she today and how your last LR?

Stephanie, yeah for considering Philly.

Howard, how is your ramped-up Goofy training coming? Are you and Lynne in the same corral this year?

Cincy Steve? That must be my stage name. ;)

Ok, so I just got on the Philly marathon website for the first time. Hmmmm, looks like a good race. Krista has no idea that I just looked at that website. Gotta be careful how I bring that one up--I don't want to anger the pregnant lady. :rolleyes1

November 23, huh? That might have some possibility. Since I haven't kept up with this thread, I have to ask--are all of you guys running it?

Cincy 'Nati Steve :hippie:

I actually went out to the Awakening for the first time post MCM when my dad and sister were visiting for Christmas. We drove out there. Even the drive seemed really long! No wonder it seemed so long running it!
Dave- Ditto what Cindy said about that being a LOONG run in the marathon! It was peaceful and picturesque (I especially remember the boat out on the river spraying water in all directions) but it did go on forever. I'm interested to hear your take on it when not sandwiched in the middle of 26.2 miles.

Cindy - I hope you enjoyed the show. DW and I really need to take advantage of some of the great things there are in the area. The problem is I'm a lazy slug.

I saw that they revised the National course but didn't really look to see what the difference was.

Sara - Way to stick with the run even when threatened with kranium kablooey! Continued PD:wizard: .

Colleen - I'm sure there will be someone for you to play tag with next weekend. Plenty of WISHers seem to be right around your overall pace.

SteveOH (Better than CincySteve? SilverSteve is already a permanent resident here so we need to make the distinction) - Too bad about the Steelers (he said with only a trace of sarcasm evident in his voice). But for the Browns inability to win any important game the division would still be represented.

A late fall marathon... Great cool weather training and a nice tune-up for Disney if you are so inclined. We won't tell Krista you're gonna sign up. Yet.

And just so ya'll know I brought up the idea of Philly to DH last night and his reponse was "That sounds like fun" So just maybe.
Stephanie - "Sounds like fun" sounds like "Book the hotel"!

Hey, that reminds me. Sara, you were going to try to get the lowdown on where we should stay in Philly. Any leads? When should we start worrying about such things? I guess maybe this isn't the right time to bring this up. Poor Jodi is already on anxiety overload. Anything extra might just do her in.

Jodi - You should wear your Garmin HR monitor. I bet you are just about at marathon HR just sitting here reading the boards! And prior to MCM you were making Bruce sound like the worryer.

I got my 12 miler in this morning. 12.27 in at 99 minutes to be exact. It was a bit brisk out, but not too bad. The first 8 miles were pretty good then I just coasted the last 4, trying to ignore the phantom (I hope) knee, ankle, booty pains:scared: .

I figured out the best way to avoid taper madness. Somehow I ended up running over 39 miles this week!?!?!?:scared1: A good couple day's work if your running Goofy, but probably not what us amateurs have in mind for a taper. Oh well, no one ever accused me of being smart.

Good Morning Teammates: :surfweb:

I'm writing from lovely DC. Nice weather here. For Mike and Cindy, I'm staying right downtown (midtown I guess) at the Crowne Plaza "Hamilton" on 14th and K street. I went for my run yesterday afternoon, and did 8.31 miles in 1:40:53 min/12:08 mpm. I have to say I was doing a lot of "sightseeing" of the monuments, but also my left hip is still bothering me. Actually, it's OK when I'm running (although I notice some irritation in there), but when I stop I start limping around. I think I might take the next couple days off (or maybe just some bike cross training). I have meetings all day today and a half day tomorrow anyhow.

Here's my running route from yesterday. I'm bummed that I forgot my camera. I did take photos with my cell phone, but I don't know how to get them off the phone. I wanted to share them.

OK, I started at my hotel and ran down 15th street to the White House. I snapped some pictures of the White House. Ran around the Ellipse to the Washington Monument. Past the Washington Monument to the Jefferson Memorial to East Potomac Park/Haines Point. I ran around Haines Point in the opposite direction that we ran for the MCM. Mike- I remember the boat in the river spraying water all around too during the race. That was fun to watch.

It was interesting to run around Haines Point yesterday. It seemed so much smaller than it did during the MCM - smaller in every sense. There was not a lot of people around, and it just seemed peaceful and quiet. Actually running around Haines Point my hip started feeling better - it loosened up and I found my groove. I think it didn't like all the starting and stopping I had been doing earlier. I made it to the point and snapped some photos of "Awakening". I WISH I had my camera, but the photos on my phone are better than nothing. That's such a cool piece of art. It really seems to capture such a spirit, and seems to fit my mood when I'm running a lot. I ran up the west side of the point to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial Park.

The FDR Memorial was a really impressive site. I had never seen it before. Wow, it's really well done. I walked through there and snapped a lot of pictures. After that, I was ready to be done. I was getting a little cold with stopping all sweaty - the wind would start to chill me. Back past the WWII memorial, down Constitution Ave, around the Ellipse, one more shot of the White House, up 15th street to K street, and I'm back at my hotel. I did some stretching in the fitness center of the hotel - no one in there.

Whew, sorry for the long post. I'm going to send a separate one next to reply to everyone.

OK, I gotta make this quick because I need to get ready for my meeting today.

First of all: AAAAAAAARRRRRRGH STEELERS!!!! Well, that playoff game epitomizes how they've been playing the last few weeks of the season. I can't believe the game was even as close as it was. I was thinking about you guys Krista and Steve.

SteveOh- Come run Philly, come on, come on, come on. I think we're going to have a pretty good WISH contingent running there. It would be great to have you (and Krista too if she could make it).

Mike- You are smoking on your runs. It seems when I start running under 9 min miles, I start to get the aches and pains. I WISH I could get my pace down where yours is. I just gotta keep working on it I guess. Good luck with Goofy next week, and give my best to Kathy.

Colleen- Good luck with the marathon this weekend. I hope your knee holds up. So after this race what are your plans (besides Philly)? Are you going to be able to rest your knee some?

Sara- How's your cold? Hopefully it will pass before marathon weekend. I can't imagine running 26.2 with a head full of phlegm.

Cindy- How was "My Fair Lady"?

Stephanie- It would be great if you could come up and join us in Philly. The more the merrier!

Jodi- What up, girl?? Where you at this weekend??? How'd your last LR go? Say hello to Bruce for me. He's coming with you to Disney isn't he? Did he get his lime green cowbell from Target?

Lou- I hope your running gives you some solace this weekend.

Hi SilverSteve :wave2:

OK, I really need to get ready now.

'Nati Steve/SteveOH/CincySteve: Sorry, man; all my fault. Another Steve waltzes on to the boards this year and we find ourselves needing "Steve Distinctions".

The reason I am referred to as "SilverSteve" can be attributed to my surprise second-place finish in Nordic Combined at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. Well... :rolleyes1 ...either that or beacause I have grey hair. (Hey, a guy can dream, right?)

I'm in for Philly; see you in a few days,

Stephen

Man, there is a lot of action on this thread lately. It's hard to keep up.

Dave - Sounds like you're having a great time in DC. It must be a great place to run. I have to get there with the family this year.

Mike - Good job on the 12 miler. 39 miles!

Cincy 'Nati Steve - Sorry about your Steelers. They did a lot better than most people thought. I actually thought they were going to win because I was getting sick of all the Jaguar hype.

Colleen - Good job on the 7 miles with the bum knee.

Sara - Sorry about the ears. Take it easy this week because you don't want to get a plane congested. 8 miles on the TM is great. I can't bring myself to do more than 5.

Cindy - Good luck with your 8 miles. I have heard the Kenndey Center is awesome. I'd like to catch something there later this year.

Stephanie - I can't compare the Philly marathon to others yet because it's the only marathon I have run. However, I loved the course and I always love the city but I'm biased. The nice thing about Philly is that they take you past so many sites (historic, Universities, Zoo, Fairmount Park, Schuykill River, Manayunk, Art Museum).

Jodi - Good luck with your 6 mile and accupuncture. Accupuncture scares me but that's because a family member had a crazy experience years ago.

I got in 8 miles yesterday morning in 1:09:27 for a 8:39 pace. I ran great the whole way and there was little or no pain. That's my last LR or semi-LR until I get to WDW.
I've been around a lot of people with colds lately. I'm praying I can keep healthy for one more week.

I'm hoping I can catch up with a lot of you guys at WDW. It would be great to put faces (although I've seen some of your faces on the posts) to everyone. Plus I figure many of us could be running other events in 2008 (i.e. Philly).

I'm so used to running alone that I don't think I could run with anyone for too long. I'm not one who likes to talk when I run because I need all the oxygen I can get.

Hopefully you guys run Philly this year. I'm 95% sure I'll be running Philly. Here's my plan for races in 2008...

NJ Marathon 5/4 (plan B would be Broad Street Run (10 miles) in Philly)
Phila Distance Run (1/2 marathon) 9/21
Long Beach Island Commemorative (18 miles) - October
Phila Marathon - November

Holy Crap!!! I'm gonna be in front of this :surfweb: all morning trying to catch up.

First things first, what in the world are you guys talking about when refering to the Awakening statue & Haynes Point on the MCM course? Was it the out & back near the water where they handed out those jellybeans? I must've been ranting in my head @ that point staring @ the ground in anger!!!:confused3 Dave, is this where you stopped to go wee? I need to starting enjoying myself more during my running:rotfl: I really have no idea what ya'll are talking about...how pathetic.

OK, here we go....

Dave - Sounds like you're having a blast in DC...be careful w/ that hip, I find the same thing as you, when I increase my speed things start to hurt. I think it's because we compromise our form for the speed. Just something to work on for the new year! WISH you were coming to Disney - Bruce is sitting this one out, but my son & mom are coming along!!

Cindy - Did you get your 8 miles in? Relax, there is no strategy to the art of snot rockets - it's something that comes from within...like picking the right portapotty line;) .

Sara - From the sounds of it you're going to be shooting some SERIOUS snot rockets this weekend...remind me to stay upwind of you!:scared1: I REALLY hope this all clears up for you by the time you have to get on a plane. I can't believe you got 8 miles in on the dreadmill in such a state:thumbsup2 . Maybe hit a sauna or something when in the World & sweat that poop out!! YEAH, what about our Philly hotels?? Now I have to look ahead to booking that as well. We've got a lot of peeps here, maybe we can get a group rate? When is everyone gonna fly in? Does the marathon start @ 8 a.m.? I gotta get a flight out late on that Sun. Oh man, here we go...

SteveOH - Congrats to you & Krista!!:yay: I look forward to meeting you both this weekend! You guys HAVE to come to Philly!! It's gonna be great!! (get Krista to sign some sort of consent form while she's still approachable:laughing: ).

Lou - Don't worry, I don't talk to anyone when I run either:laughing: , that's a kickin' pace yesterday:thumbsup2 . If you're running like that you won't see me at all...maybe on Space Mtn. or somewhere, but not on the course:rotfl2: .

Steve - I look forward to meeting you! Did you get a last run in this weekend? Did I miss that post?

TheaWaves - How on earth can you walk that fast??? Sheesh. Sorry the knee is still being an a**! What have various therapists, Drs & such being saying about your prognosis?

Stephanie - You have to come to Philly! Are you doing the Goofy? Am I riding the happy bus by myself on Sat. a.m.?

Mike - Slow down, dude. You want to be fresh as a lilac for next weekend :bride: . So I get a little worked up reading the boards, psychopsally indeed:snooty: . You just concentrate on getting your running ensemble ready for next weekend (don't forget to match your tights & socksprincess: ). Good thing your poor daughter won't be there to witness all of this...make sure a cast member doesn't try & shanghai you for a stage show when you're running through Cinderella's castle;) .

Sat. a.m. I payed serious $ to be abused by my accupunture guy. He stuck needles into my inner, INNER thigh on both legs b/c my adductor/psoas & all that other crap over there, was tight as heck. Boy did I swear...A LOT! Oh, & let's not forget about the needle in the right calf & achilles:scared1: ! After an hour of that I limped home, ate lunch, rested up & went out for a 6 mile spin!! Didn't feel bad after mile 4 or so. I'll prolly run today, 4 miles or so, & take advantage of the warm weather here & do the same for the next few days!

Does anyone else have dreams about running & stuff? Missing busses, wrong corrals, going down the wrong road...watching that Twilight Zone marathon on NYE really had a negative effect on my brain!:lmao: This a.m. I was writing my "what to pack list" in bed, in the dark, trying not to wake up Bruce.:sad2: How come my right foot sweats more than my left?

Good Morning!

I'm exhausted this morning and sitting in front of the computer to further delay my run. My Fair Lady was excellent last night - I really enjoyed it. The only problem was we then had to come home and watch the second half of the Red Skins game and the Steelers game (which we had recorded). Should have just gone to bed. Silly me, there were a few minutes when I really thought the Skins were going to win. And then the Steelers game - I was rooting for them (and only partially because I would rather see the Pats play them than Jac.). Sorry Steve. DH is a huge Chargers fan, so today could be an intersting day.

Mike - I assume the whole getting out and doing things is much easier when you don't have kids to worry about. We also have the "running out of time thing" as a motivator, since DH and I are thinking about getting into the kid business next year.

Sara - I'm sorry that you are still feeling terrible. I hope that it clears up before next week.

Colleen - I'm with Jodi - how do you walk so fast?

Jodi - Yeah, the Awakening was a little before where they started giving out the sport beans. Dave posted a pic of it on the weekly thread. Don't worry, I was actually feeling so miserable at that point in the MCM that I almost missed it and I've been there before and knew where it was.

Daddy to be - I'd call you Steelers Steve, but maybe that hurts too much right now? :confused3

Dave - The FDR memorial is my absolute favorite place in DC. It's even better at night (and when it is warmer and they have all of the water features turned on) - something to keep in mind for future trips. I hope the hip thing works itself out. It probably is best to rest it.

Lou - I'm also thinking about doing the Philly Distance Run this year (partially because it would mean an extra medal since I am already running RNR San Diego)

Guess I need to get up and run. I ran 8.5 yesterday and will run 4 easy miles today (mostly so that I can get in a fourth run for the week).

Colleen/Theta wrote:Howard, how is your ramped-up Goofy training coming? Are you and Lynne in the same corral this year?

Good morning! Lynne (Xteratri) and I happen to be in the same corral and appropriate wave for the HM and M. We are in Wave A for the Half and Blue Wave C for the Marathon. I am glad this worked out for us. She made a BIG, positive impact on my Marathon experience last year. She exemplifies what a true friend is, especially during a race.

My training is coming along. I have been able to get in LR's of 14.95 and 9.88 miles over the past two weeks with shorter runs on the TM and outside. My LR last year for the Goofy was 13.8. I think I'll not be ready enough, but able to complete the Goofy. It won't be pretty.

I hope to see you along the course somewhere. It was fun running with you.

Safe travels! I can't wait to see you in Philadelphia too! So much to look forward to.

Howard

Lou - I'm also thinking about doing the Philly Distance Run this year (partially because it would mean an extra medal since I am already running RNR San Diego)

Cindy - Actually, the PDR was a great race. In a lot of ways it was better than the Philly Marathon.

  1. It's a Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon and organized by the same people who run the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon. Music wasn't spectacular but a nice touch.
  2. The medal for the PDR was much nicer than the Philly marathon. I was actually a little disappointed in the marathon medal because I expected it to be bigger and better than PDR. That was not the case.
  3. The PDR expo was better. It was in the PA Conv Center as opposed to Temple's Liacorus Center. Better exhibits...more freebies.

So psyched to be able to say I'll see y'all THIS week:cheer2:

I am in for Philly '08. The hotels I was told that would be good for the race are either the Embassy Suites on Ben Franklin Parkway or the Crown Plaza on Race (I think) Street. I have the specifics at work and I will post on the thread sometime before I leave for WDW. The Philly Marathon website has a lot of good information on hotels. I have no problem calling for group rates and/or researching rates online.

CincySteve - You know a couple of us on this thread are going to have to speak with Krista on your behalf at WDW this weekend about your need to be in Philly on 11/23:rolleyes1

Cindy - Glad you enjoyed My Fair Lady. Nice job on the 8.5:woohoo: .

Howard - It's great that it worked out for you and Lynne with corral placement. I hope to see you guys out there as I did last year:thumbsup2 .

Jodi - :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: Glad to see you back girl!! I thought Mike might have scared you off with his incessant heckling:confused3 . We'll deal with Philly AFTER you tackle Goofy...stay focusedpopcorn:: .

Lou - Sweet job on the 8 miles:banana: . Here's lots of :wizard: for staying away from any cold germs this week. Are you going to the Pop WISH meet on Friday? If not, PLEASE make sure you get yourself to the designated meeting place before the full. We really would love to put a face with the name and I guarantee you won't miss our group. I like your race plan for 2008:thumbsup2 .

Dave - Enjoy DC! Thanks for posting about the scenery from your run and how it appeared different from how you remembered it during MCM. :wizard: for your hip.

Mike - Please go easy on Jodi this week and don't give her anything else to fret aboutpopcorn:: . You thinking about tapering at all this week:rolleyes1 ?

Colleen - Thanks so much for the reminder about the water intake. I normally do the Airborne pre-marathon regardless because I am paranoid. I like your race strategy and I agree with Mike that you know they'll be plenty of WISH'ers to keep you company on the course no matter your pace come race day:grouphug: .

Rest day for me today. The head seems to be clearing a bit:cool1: I am going to get lots of rest this week and run as I am able.

Sara - The Embassy Suites would be perfect. It's a good hotel and you are basically a few blocks from the start. There are a lot of other nice hotels within a few blocks City Hall and the Convention Center (Broad &
Market).

I don't get in until 9PM on Friday so I can't do the Pop. I'll plan on meeting at the "W" family spot before the race. I'll look for the yellow shirts.

Hi guys!

Ran a 3.5-miler today. Can't believe only a few shorts runs left 'til next weekend.

Sara: Hope the ears begin cooperating (pixiedust:). Thanks for looking into the Philly hotels.

Dave: Sounds like you logged some nice miles in DC. I'm glad the hip is cooperating.

Colleen: I truly do not know how you can walk at such a fast pace :worship:

Stephanie: Excellent, another Philly participant?

Howard: I'm also in the same wave/corral as you. I'll have to catch you at Pop and chat pace.

Cindy: I'm glad you enjoyed your night at the theater. Sorry the 'Skins did not cooperate for you upon your return. Nice job on the 8.5.

Mike: Whoa buddy! Nearly 40 miles and only one week out?

Lou: Smokin' time on the 8-miler. You wouldn't have to worry about me chatting you up during the race seeing as I'll be 6-8 miles behind you!

Steve-OH: I have three children; your plan "not to anger the pregnant lady" when discussing Philly is a good one. This bears repeating: Do Not Anger the Pregnant Lady. :sad2:

Jodi: You let someone stab you on the inner thigh with needles, yet you're worried about a catching an early bus? :rotfl: "Relax, focus power Grasshopper."

Heading out back to sled with the kiddos. Catch you all later.

Colleen: I truly do not know how you can walk at such a fast pace :worship:

Mike: Whoa buddy! Nearly 40 miles and only one week out?

Thanks for the pats on the back Jodi, Cindy and Steve, but remember I DID RUN 1/3 of the time during my 7 miler yesterday, which, but the way I am a little stiff in the arms and shoulders today?!?!:confused3

So my walking pace really isn't that impressive when you factor in a few 9 minute miles.

My plan is the run 1/4 of the marathon for the first 20 miles and then see how my knee/hip feels and if I have anything left to run more frequently for the last 6.2.:wizard:

Oh and Mike, see Lou's post above, cool the heels buddy! You remind me of my DH, he started a new rehab program a few months ago in an attempt to run Boston this year and he goes out and runs a few 6:30's after 5 months of non-existent running.:sad2: He wasn't happy I scolded him.
