Me
Bruce

That's IT???:confused3 What gives, guys?

Chester?
Colleen?
Cindy
, will Matt run?
Howard, tell Cam we'll need her, too! If she doesn't want to run she can help with driving maybe?:rolleyes1
Dave, ru in?
Lou?
Mike? Come on, you know your retirement account, like mine, is wiped out anyway, at this point, what's the difference?

Come on people, Sept. 18 & 19th!!! :yay: We'll camp out or something so we don't have to pay for hotel rooms!popcorn::

Good Morning Everyone: Thanks for the well-wishes about my fall. I realize I'm very lucky, and could have been hurt much, much worse. I'm doing OK. I'm scraped, bruised, swollen, and I feel pretty stiff, but other than that I'm fine. I even ran 3 miles on the TM yesterday. So I'm OK.

Jodi- I WISH I knew more of what I was doing in September. I've thought of taking the kids to run the Disneyland 5K in California over Labor Day weekend, and I thought of running the Expedition Everest Challenge with DD10 :princess:. However, I definitely want to run the RtB relay with all you guys too. If that's the plan for the fall, then I'm in. :thumbsup2 I hope your foot is doing OK. What was the official word?

Sara- Hope your cold is getting better. I didn't know you were going to Disney just to scream team for the marathon. Have fun. You'll be 40 then, right? Where are you staying in Williamsburg? My family has been talking about a trip there this summer.

Cindy- My spring plan is to run the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 3. I grew up in Pittsburgh, and always wanted to run in the race. It was a really big deal in the late 80's and early 90's. I remember they had both the men's and women's Olympic trials on the course. By the time I finally got in shape to run the race, they cancelled it because the city went bankrupt and the parks department couldn't support it anymore. This is the marathon's first year back after being suspended for 5 years. At Mile 7 of the course you are 1 block away from mile MiL's house and the church DW and I got married in. So that's my plan for the spring.

Colleen- Sorry your Thanksgiving wasn't better. Glad you found a babysitter for Disney though. Guess I can't come down for that job...

Jen- You should talk to Colleen about pace groups for Disney. She's the one that set them up when I ran in 2007. In fact, I ended up running with Colleen for the first 1/2 of the marathon, and it was so fabulous. You and Colleen may be around the same pace. You two should talk...

Hi Howard, Mike, Chester, Lou :wave2:

OK, I should probably do some work.

Come on people, Sept. 18 & 19th!!! :yay: We'll camp out or something so we don't have to pay for hotel rooms!popcorn::
I never anticipated hotel rooms:laughing: ;) Just a couple of days in a foul-smelling van with friends as crazy as I am:hippie: I know it won't be the same but you might have to start a thread on the board to gauge any other interested DIS people:confused: . You're up for making new friends, right:thumbsup2 . I may be able to persuade a friend or two and I am an officer in my local running club so I'd put the offer out there if you wanted me to:rolleyes1 . I don't know how down I'd be with a carpool out to NH having to make small talk but for you I'd take one for the team:rotfl: .

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, THERE SLAPPY!

What's all this talk of a new thread & recruiting? Now we've got Dave on board, we're good! That's a team right there! The team can be up to 12 people & we've potentially got that already! Give or take a few that drop out, go bankrupt or get pregnant, we've got enough with the existing Bot Brigade!:goodvibes

 New friends indeed!:headache: ...;)

You'll be 40 then, right? Where are you staying in Williamsburg? My family has been talking about a trip there this summer.
Don't push it, my friend:lmao: I won't be 40 until 1/23:goodvibes . Yes, I am arriving in MCO 1/10 and leaving 1/12 - strictly to be a WISH supporter and scream teamer:grouphug: . As for Williamsburg, VA, we're getting a puppy next week so we had to reschedule and rethink our 2009 vacation plans. We're going to drive and take the dog with us so we have to stay in a pet friendly hotel. Luckily, the Residence Inn (Marriott) in Williamsburg will allow Maggie to stay with us for the week:love: . We're now investigating activities for the week so I'll be sure to touch base with you and share info:thumbsup2 . Glad you're in for RTB. I will definitely carpool with you to NH and anyone else who passes through upstate NY on their way east so please keep that in mind;) .

One more thing I forgot to mention. The Bot water saved Matt! Last Tuesday, it took him over 3 HOURS :scared1: to get to BWI to pick my sister up because traffic was so bad (it should only take an hour). He was really thirsty and luckily found the Bot water that had rolled under the seat of the car! (Ok, maybe "saved" is a bit too strong, but he was happy that he had the Bot water to quench his thirst.)

I will let Bruce know that the BotWater :worship: saved Matt from a certain death from dehydration!;) He will be so pleased :yay: .

NH, that is a long way up there! :rolleyes1 What is the closest airport?

Ah, Maggie has a name!:lovestruc

NH, that is a long way up there! :rolleyes1 What is the closest airport?

Oh STOP! It's not that far. Get a flight into Hartford & I'll pick you up. Or fly into Manchester, NH or Albany or Rochester & those other trolls :clown: will get you. Are you in or what, Canada?:yay:

I have been wallowing in self-pity about the loss of our hard drive (I know I should be more concerned with all the financial data and the over 150 address labels for Christmas cards that I lost, but right now, all I am thinking of is all the wedding-related stuff that has to be re-created).
BUT, I finally got the digital card to Ritz and put it all on CDs so that I could upload them to photobucket and share them here. Enjoy!

Also, it occurs to me that I may have neglected to thank Sara PROFUSELY for all of the amazing desserts she baked -- chocolate cookies, pumpkin raisin cookies, apple muffins and that incredible chocolate/nut/raspberry jam cake. :cloud9: YUMMMMMMMM!!! Love ya, sweetie! :cutie:

Thanks for posting all the pictures, Cam :grouphug: . What a great weekend! Sorry about your computer troubles  :sad2: .

Let's see. If I load up the Ark and drive up... That's 3,000 miles round trip = $1,000 gas plus I need to put tires on that's another $2,400 -

Aw heck I might as well just fly up. It's not out of the question at this point. I'll just have to see how the economy and job situation holds up. I can't commit 100% at this time.

Chester

Hey Cam, can you identify all those hotties around your table please?? ;)

Hey McPhillabots,

Jen - 18 TM miles?!:scared1: You get double credit for that. Nice job on the 36 miles.

Dave - Sorry to hear you took a tumble but glad your only slightly the worse for wear.

We have a couple of wicked high peaks in the front of our house. You have to stretch from the top of a fully extended 40 ft ladder to get the top. I did lights up there the first couple of years but have settled for a more modest display closer to earth since then.

Since I'm scream teaming as opposed to running, I'd prefer to view hours and hours of men in shorts :confused3 looking like, um, virile men;)
Virile men?? Holy Herpes Batman! Why would that be a good thing?:confused3

Colleen - Still waiting for the details of the crappy Thanksgiving.

Jodi - Nice race report. I'm pleased to hear you avoided the crankies. Also happy that you didn't hip check Cindy into the river.

Cam - Thanks so much for posting the pics.

Cindy - Yeah for the Bot water! Boo for too much work.

Howard, Lou, Chester - What's up guys.

That's my catch-up post. I'll have to do the All About Me post later on tonight (assuming I can stay awake long enough after all the evening activities/bedtimes, etc.).

Hey Cam, can you identify all those hotties around your table please?? ;)

Let's see if I can handle this for Cam.

Using the picture the 2nd up from the bottom (it has everyone in it),
(From the center, swinging around to the left and then clockwise):

Nicole (Lou's DW)
Louie (Lou's son)
Matt (Cindy's DH)
Lou
Howard
Chester
Tracy (Chester's DW)
Kathy (Mike's DW)
Mike (Kathy's DH)
Bruce (Jodi's DH)
Jodi (Bruce's DW)
Colleen
Sara
Jen
Cindy (Matt's DW)
Dave (seated)

Not pictured: Cam , Andrew (Cam & Howard's DS) and Mike and Kathy's beautiful daughters.

Nice avoidance of the RTBRelay question, there, Michael.

Hi Judy! Running any local/lower Ffld. county races in the near future? My Aunt lives in Vista...you anywhere near there?

Get outta here! I'm in South Salem. Is she in Oakridge???

2: energetic , vigorous
3 a: characteristic of or associated with men : masculine b: having traditionally masculine traits especially to a marked degree
4: masterful , forceful

The tights tend to effeminate, think ballet dancer, and would not be my first choice for visuals lasting hours on end:hippie:
Speaking of glossing over RTB Relay, you also seemed to gloss over RNR VA Beachpopcorn::. Is that race doable for either you or your bride (Hi Kathy:wave2: )? I'll have my kids and a dog that I'm sure your girls would have a great time with both:rotfl: .

Judy - Thanks for lurking:wave: I hope you & Charlie are well!! Are either of you interested in a 200 mile relay in September:rolleyes1 ?

Colleen - I'll find you a cheap flight for RTB:thumbsup2

Howard - Worried about your computer:sad1:

I printed out my 20-week training program for RNR San Diego today which will begin on 1/12:banana: :cheer2: . I may go back to actual training as per a training plan for 2009:laughing:. However, I'm really glad to merely be cheering for y'all in another month or so:banana: :cheer2: :cool1:

Ahh! So Judy's lurking around here looking for trouble. I'll have to start throwing a few goodies out for her from time to time :thumbsup2 .

:worship: I am not worthy of the Philly thread! I am not worthy. :worship:

I don't actually look for trouble, it just seems to find me. ;)

Thanks Howard!!!
