Phila to Mco Nonstop

AirTran has some. Southwest has some. USAirways has some. United has some.

If you are anywhere convenient to Atlantic City, Spirit has has some from there.

we are going down on Airtran and back on US Air. southwest and United go N/S too.

US Airways and United are the same flights. Even if you book with United, you still need to board your plane in the US Airways terminal, since it will be a US Airways flight.

USAirways has the most non-stops (we have a lot of experience flying with them! ). Delta may have 1 or 2. Southwest has perhaps 4 a day. I've no experience with the other carriers with regard to Orlando.

We flew Air Tran nonstop from PHL to MCO in May. They had a few flights to choose from that were nonstop.

We just booked our non-stop on AirTran this afternoon. Although we'll have to drive over almost two hours to get to the airport, we're happy it's non-stop and that we'll be paying $376 less than the Delta flight we canceled leaving from Harrisburg.

I noticed USAir had flights at the same price as AirTran.

Have you had any experiences with USA 3000 out of Harrisburg? We're halfway between there and PHL, but end up going out of PHL b/c there are usually more nonstop options from there.
Our Dec. Flights were the exact same fares on USAir and Air Tran....Times were better for us going down on one and back on the other, so that's what we're doing.

I've just begun looking for our January trip and SW currently (at least for January) has 7 ns flights each way PHL/MCO listed. That's up from our trip in May .....I think there were about 4 or 5 ns then with a few more that were not ns. We love those ns flights from PHL on SW!

I heard that SW is raising their fares $10/leg soon due to fuel costs, so snag one of those babies soon!

We used to use USAir a lot until they started losing our luggage (several bags on last 2 trips with them and no customer service to help!)
Since then we've switched to SWA and get plenty of non-stops from PHL. For the last 4 trips plus the one in Sept, we were able to get $49 each way (originally had $79 going home but was able to stay another day and get $49)

What we love most about SW is that they rarely change their schedule unless it's due to weather and there's no fee to change or cancel. Also the employees make flying fun. They're much happier than the somber mood at USAirways.

I definitely agree about the upbeat attitude of SW employees......they all seem to love their job, don't they? Not too worried about the price increase.....yet anyway. I usually book one ways to make it easier if a DING comes along, but, there's currently about $30 difference (higher) for one ways over round trip, so I'm waiting to see if that resolves itself over the next few weeks. There are only three of us this trip so I'm not too worried about getting a flight (if we can't get on one I'm sure we can book another.......there are currently 7 ns from PHL on our dates) I'm also willing to bet there will be some DINGS for our dates since we're going during a slow period. This past January we travelled a week later and ended up with $107 total rd trp down from $178 when I originally booked (which is just about what it currently is). I'm not banking on it coming down that much with higher fuel costs, but, I do think it will drop somewhat........after all, they want bodies in those seats and as it gets closer and they're not filled ........a lower fare is better than none at all! Just for the heck of it, I checked prices from my local regional airport and the least I can get is well over $300 rd trp and that's with over 6 hr timeframe with a transfer. Heck, we can drive to PHL in 2 hrs and even with planning to be there 2 hrs before flight ........can make it to MCO in a little less than 6 hrs for a LOT less money.

Just wondering if any of you have heard rumor of Southwest flying out of Allentown? My mom said she thought she read it somewhere :confused3

I can't imagine they'd fly from LVIA (aka ABE aka Allentown)....airlines don't stay around there very long...:sad2:

No I hadn't heard that about SW and ABE......I would actually prefer if they would come to AVP (WilkesBarre/Scranton) since it's practically in my backyard!!! It's a shame because the new terminal at AVP is really very nice and so underutilized at this point........if we could get decent flights.....on decent airlines....at decent prices I would just love it. However, that said, if SW did come to ABE I would definitely go there.......rather drive an hour than two. I just don't see that happening though unless for some reason they pull out of PHL.....it's just too close of a market.
